The facility is great and the location is even better. It's a little weird at first, having to drive through a strip mall parking lot to get to the marina, but that feeling quickly goes away when you realize that you have everything you need within walking distance of your boat slip. A Walmart, McDonalds ,Farm Store Chicken, Dunkin Donuts, Rita's Ice, plenty of good restaurants , Advance Auto parts store, and a True Value. It couldn't get any better. The staff are incredible, the amenities are plentiful (free ice). Lets not forget the Bengies Drive-In. Bottom line, it's the place if you need a marina.

The shops are mostly closed, out of business, or they have sparse hours of operation. There were very few people walking around. The visitor center was nice and had some good information on the history of MD and the area. The aquarium looks nice and there are some restaurants to choose from. Parking is available on the street or in the little lot (if there are no events going on) and there is a park bathroom there, as well. Lots of water to see. Fun fact: I didn't know but Loch Raven Reservoir supplies drinking water for the city of Baltimore!! The Reservoir is pretty popular on Saturdays and Sunday morning, early before 9am. I've never been during the week so I'm not sure of the traffic during those times. 5 stars! The trails are relatively easy but fun to explore and you can go shorter or longer distances depending how much time you have. We enjoy visiting for a change of pace from the Pennsylvania State Parks because while the trails aren't extremely rugged or long, they're fun and the nature center has interesting displays and creatures to visit.

The water and the view is beautiful, this is a great spot to hang out with friends or have some tranquil solo-time on the water. The location is conveniently located next to Charley's, it looks like a colorful, fun eatery, I will have to visit that next time I visit. Parking was easy.
