Our rabbit is very important to us so I set out to find the best possible pet sitter in the area for peace of mind, that was when I stumbled upon Furry Friends Pet sitting. We boarded our beloved senior rabbit (who is a very sassy bun) for 11 days as we had to leave for an overseas trip. Barbara is very great at communication from the first contact all throughout the duration of rabbit boarding. Questions are specific as in which veggies are most preferred, hay preference, vaccine and vet information. They also provided an enclosure with toys and hidey spots so all we had to do was drop our bun off in a carrier. She would send daily videos and photos along with detailed updates (like how she would lounge all day and snack on her hay and list the veggies she was fed). Barbara shows a lot of experience as she has a variety of veggies as well as regularly cleaning out the water bowl and tidying the enclosure. She would also spend time petting and changing up the toys and tunnels as well. Receiving texts on our bun was something I looked forward to during our trip as I would see how relaxed and comfortable she was! As a first-time dog owner raising a puppy by myself, I was completely overwhelmed. The staff has been with me every step of the way, even helping me decide on a Portuguese Water Dog's temperament to best suit my active running lifestyle. My puppy Yumi, now 17 weeks old, has been through Harmony School from 9-12 weeks, which came with 4 group lessons, and 1 private instruction. She's still going to school once a week to help give me some much-needed relief, and I'm hoping to start private lessons soon after my travel plans. Shanni and Brenna were instrumental during those first brutal two weeks with Yumi. I had major puppy blues - stressed about making sure she was okay, stressed about accidents, and desperate to set her up for success. This stress, combined with virtually no sleep (taking Yumi out every 20 minutes when awake and sleeping near her the first few days to soothe her), was a recipe for doubt and regret. I was that pet parent who would call frantically about any diarrhea or accident, text essay-length questions, and send way too many videos and notes about the schedules and patterns I'd observe, obsess over, and worry about. This incredible team met every single concern with patience, understanding, and practical solutions. The first time I dropped Yumi off at school was the first time I'd taken a break in a week - it was much-needed relief that allowed me to reset and find a routine that worked for me. Instead of fighting against her nature and her age (she's just a toddler!), I learned to work with her and celebrate every victory. The resources and support I received have set both Yumi and myself up for success. Yumi has grown into a beautiful, confident, and sweet-natured pup. She's well socialized, sleeps through the night from 10-7am, tries her hardest to not jump when greeting others, and can now be left alone for 3-4 hours at a time, which has been huge. She's still a working dog with tons of energy, but Shanni has guided me through how to tire her out mentally via shaping, soft chews, increasing difficulty in fundamentals, and teaching me how to actually train my dog. Her guidance helped me learn to see Yumi for who she is instead of who I want her to be, and how to debug and break down behaviors to address instead of treating undesired ones as 'issues' (like barking, digging, or jumping on people). It's been such a joy and privilege raising Yumi, but I definitely wouldn't have gotten here without Shanni and her team - the true village supporting my single pet parenthood lifestyle. Their approach is holistic, compassionate, and incredibly effective. Highly recommend for both new and experienced dog owners!

The response was quick but negative, with a subtle implication that puppy pads are abusive. Note that my dog goes outside at least twice a day on walks and during work days goes to the office where she gets to go outside regularly (no puppy pads at the office), however these folks were not even interested in learning more about the puppy. In general I am not impressed with the demeanor of this company.

Unfortunately, the week I brought my dog in, the cameras were down due to Wi-Fi issues, which I understand can happen. However, my concerns started after the first day. When I picked Maui up, he urgently needed to go poo. After we got home (about a 45-minute drive), he drank almost an entire bowl of water. This made me question whether he was being given enough water or regular opportunities to relieve himself during the day. The same thing happened the second day. When I picked him up, he immediately drank water from a bowl they had outside immediately and had an extremely long pee--lasting over a minute--which again made me feel like he wasn't being let out frequently enough. On top of that, I noticed a very unpleasant smell coming from him in the car. When I checked, there were stains on his chin and belly that smelled far worse than urine. This raised concerns about cleanliness, either in the kennels or play areas (which were not included in the tour). I truly wanted this to be a good, budget-friendly option, but based on my experience, I would rather pay more elsewhere to ensure my dog is properly cared for. Saving money isn't worth compromising my pet's well-being.

Trust your instincts. It is not a good place. The facilities are old and not well-kept. The building is basically a junky warehouse with some fenced-in parking lots and a pop-up tent for shade. I took my dog there because it was the only place in the vicinity of Apple's campus that didn't have a wait list, and it is easy to understand why. In the first week there, I picked up my dog with a big scratch on his snout that was bleeding. He's a medium dog and was placed in the large pen. When I realized and called, the girl said, 'Yeah, the dogs were playing really rough.' And tried to say that natural conditions for dogs are like when you drop your kid off at daycare, sometimes they come home with a bruise." When I asked that he be placed with smaller dogs, they said no. I would not recommend this space to anyone!

Kimberley is the BEST ! We've been using Kimberley and Bowser's Buddy Pet Care for years. Kimberley has walked our two current dogs ever since they were puppies and they LOVE her ! She also worked with our previous older dogs, walking them only as much as they could take. Sometimes that meant dividing walks so that one got a longer walk than the other one. She's very experienced with dogs and very understanding of their needs. Our schedule can be quite variable and Kimberley has always been able to cover our needs. We currently use her to get our boyz out during the day while we're at work, but she's has also stayed overnight with our boyz at our house on several occassions. I swear they get a vacation every time we get one :-) Kimberley and Bowser's Buddy Pet Care are the best. If you need help with your animals you should look no further. read more

Even if your pre-neutered pup happens to Lothario every four-legged canine regardless of gender. But wait, there's more! What if you're leaving for a few days, and you can't have a house sitter? Benji's will pick up your barker and provide the same service they do for the long morning, notes included. And they bring him home. You won't find another service that includes pick up and drop off and all day daycare/dog hike for this much. 9. They check all their guests vaccinations, health records, and health so you don't have to worry that your pet will pick something up while playing. These guys are a gem.

Right from the consultation, Octavia was friendly and reassuring and helped us understand that our dog was just a little special to no fault of our own. After discussing our concerns, what we hoped to get out of training, and our schedules we opted for the 24 session home and train package. Given mine and my bf's work schedule, we initially thought we would only attend a few sessions a week and have Octavia work with our puppy for a majority of the time. However, that quickly changed and Octavia worked with me and my literally ridiculous work schedule to make sure we found something that worked for all of us. Working with Octavia made us realize the training is as much for the dog as it is for the human. She didn't push any strict rules that I've seen other trainers mention, such as not allowing the dogs on furniture, and really factored in what would be practical in our lives as dog parents and what we wanted. As with all things, it takes time to find out what works best for each dog. Octavia was very patient in explaining and walking us through everything. She was always open for questions and answering whatever concerns I had about my dog even if it wasn't directly related to our training session. It's been almost a year and finding Octavia as a trainer has been the best thing that could happen to our family. What other trainer could you find that will shed tears with you from seeing your dog go from being unable to walk without tugging on a leash, to being able to walk at a heel off leash in just a few weeks (with still plenty of sessions to go!). Not only does she care and love our dog that she trains, she also extends that warmest to our other dog. The sound of her name makes both of our dogs perk up and want to run down the hall to greet her at the other end. Highly recommend!

Kirsten has been our savior and has helped us tackle these issues to a large extent within a span of 4-6 weeks. She is flexible with scheduling training hours and came over to our place multiple times to witness and correct bad behavior. She helped us slowly introduce him to the prong collar. It has been so effective and our pup is now clearly more confident and we are able to communicate more effectively with him. We are really thankful to Kirsten for helping us with Sunny.
