We have four Ragdolls and used Ed and Alexandra for about two and a half years any time we were going on vacation. It is so clear from our interactions with Ed that he loves animals, and our cats also grew fond of him. He always sent pictures and was extremely thorough detailing what was done during the visits and keeping us updated. We even had an instance where we needed him to assist with a virtual vet consult while we were away and one of our pets got sick, so they really went above and beyond. This was my first time using them to care for my two kitties. Both of my kitties are extremely skiddish and have intestinal issues. Needless to say I was very nervous about leaving them. Initially both Alexandra and Ed came out to introduce themselves and to meet my two kitties prior to my trip. They explained to me what I can expect from them and they left me with several pages of paperwork to fill out about my home and my kitties. Ed cared for my two girls. He came twice a day for five days and besides trying to quietly coax my kitties out of hiding he attended to every detail I had requested. Not only did he tell me about the accidents, he also cleaned them all up. I have not gone away in a year because of I was so worried about their vomiting and feeling bad about someone else having to clean up after them. While I was away, after each visit, he would text me what he had done and how my girls were doing and what had happened during his visit. He also always texted me pictures of my girls and other relevant things. When I came home, I found my home looking and smelly so clean, 2 smiling kitty faces at my door to greet me and he had left my outside light on for me. I highly recommend Alexandra and Ed for your pet sitting needs. If they can calm an anxious mother like me, that's saying a whole lot! We had to go out of town for five days, and for the first time, we had to use a service to watch our cats. After seeing Lovable Pet Sitters mentioned in a local Facebook group, I came here to read their reviews, which were stellar. We set up an appointment and Alex and Ed came to the house to meet us and our two senior kitties, Tupac and Chicken. They spent almost 45 minutes with us, giving us their background, meeting the cats, learning all of our routines and where everything was. Ed mentioned if we wanted to leave a brush out, he'd be happy to brush them when he came around. Honestly, I had an immediate good feeling about them and we agreed to hire them. Well we just got home and I can tell you, Alex and Ed live up to their reviews and their word. We put a camera in our kitchen so we could chat with the kids while we were away, and we couldn't help but notice all the love and affection Ed gave to our little ones, including brushing on more than one occasion. We saw him sweeping up stray litter around the box, and he even recommended a different brand of litter to help eliminate dust. We told him we'd take care of emptying the Litter Genie when we got back, but he did it anyway. Their food and water was always full, and he even got some of their fur off of the sofa for us. Ed also sent us pics of Tupac enjoying a noggin' rub (and sent daily texts letting us know how things were going). Our cat Chicken is very wary of strangers, but we noticed he came out for Ed on the last few days, which says a lot about Ed's character and demeanor. They have gone above and beyond for me and my cat. They provide a free consultation to see how your pet(s) respond to them. Animals know good people and sure enough my cat sniffed them, walked around them, and then decided he liked them and rubbed against their legs and allowed them to pet him. They sent me daily photo updates which I love! I have used their service twice so far. On my last trip I had to unexpectedly extend it an extra day they were able to accommodate the last minute addition. Ed cat sit for me for two weeks and did an exceptional job. It was such a relief to know that she had someone taking good care of her and making sure she wasn't alone. My cat is very anxious and afraid of strangers, but also very attached to me and doesn't do well when left alone for long periods of time. I knew she needed an overnight pet sitter. It was hard to find a cat sitter who would do overnight stays, but Lovable Pet Sitter does, and it was absolutely worth it. Right from the start, I felt a lot of confidence in Alex and Ed. They visited my home to interview me and meet my cat, and they asked a lot of questions about my cat's care. They also had me fill out all the details in writing and sign a release for my vet in case of any issues. They are also insured. I had not thought of all those things and it was good to see they had. Ed stayed from 5pm-7am each day so my cat could get lots of social time and wouldn't be alone at night. Since my cat is so afraid of strangers, I was sure it would take her a long time to warm up to Ed...but he sent me photos of him playing with her on the first day! He texted me photos of him playing with her twice a day (evening when he arrived and morning before he left). He also sent me photos of her refreshed food and water and cleaned litter box daily so I could be sure everything was taken care of. I could tell from the photos that she was enjoying playing and happy to have the company. When I got back, my cat was in good health, happy to see me, and clearly hadn't felt abandoned. My husband and I recently went out of country and needed someone to care for our 3 cats. One of them has special needs and the other two are less than a year old...so a lot of work to say the least. Ed and Alexandra agreed to provide their services on a short notice for a 2 1/2 weeks overnight stay to take care of my cats and house which was a great relief as I had travel plans. I was on a bind to find someone I can trust and feel comfortable with. These guys came through. During their first visit I felt comfortable with how caring, knowledgeable and proactive they seemed. Alex and Ed are AMAZING, they've loved all three of our precious cats even as our one cat was getting up in age and passed away. They are always loving and sweet. Our cat is very cautious and hides from strangers. We've used Lovable Pet Sitters, Alex and Ed, for over 20 visits... even though nearly every visit he would hide for the entirety of their visit, Ed would still spend the full 30 minutes in our house, cleaning up after our cat, putting out food, and then searching the house for our cautious boy and sending us pictures to let us know he was doing great. After 25+ visits, I can happily say he's finally warmed up to them and will appear for food and petting. Professional, affordable and very lovable. We just got our cat Buddy 4 months ago and have never used a pet sitter, so I didn't know what to expect. I was extremely impressed with Lovable Pet Sitters; they exceeded my expectations. I contacted them after I reached out to another pet sitter with 5 star Google and Yelp reviews, but that sitter never followed up, so Alexandra and Ed came to our rescue with short notice. They are extremely professional. They replied to emails within an hour. They sent courtesy emails notifying us when they were starting and ending their service, and asked us to confirm when we got home so they were sure Buddy was safe. They kept daily logs of everything that was performed during every visit. Because Buddy had gone through so much trauma just 4 months ago, I was really worried about leaving him all by himself for 5 days so I asked them to check on him twice a day. He usually doesn't like to be around strange people, so I was really surprised when Alexandra sent a photo the first morning of Buddy playing his favorite mousy game. I thought he would be hiding under the bed all week. She's like a cat whisperer. She sent me photos every day to keep my worries at bay. The reason I gave them 5 stars instead of just 4 is because they spent much more time with Buddy than what we paid for. We have an electronic lock that alerts me of when the door is open and closed, so I can tell you with confidence that their time logs are accurate and if anything, they err on the side of being there longer than what they report. They brought in the mail and took out my trash even though I told them not to worry about it. Towards the end of our trip my husband joked that maybe Buddy was spoiled because Alexandra was paying more attention to him than we do and maybe he wouldn't like us as much as her. These guys have been the most amazing pet sitters we've ever used. Like others have said on here, they are quick to respond to emails and text messages, and the notes they leave after every visit help put any worries at ease. We have an older cat that has always been shy and wary of strangers, but after a few visits is absolutely in love with Alexandra. The pictures she sends us every day show him out and about, playing, cuddling, and generally being a happy cat. Those daily photo updates are the best, since we get visual confirmation of how our old man is doing. Rates are very reasonable, and they'll check your mail and water your plants if you ask them to. How do you put a price on knowing your family pet is being genuinely cared for while you're away? Our cat is a very skittish, shy but sweet girl who does not warm up to strangers easily. Alex must be a cat whisperer because I received daily pictures of her with our cat next to her toys. (I expected all pictures of her to be from under our bed hiding!) It was such a relief to know that our cat had at least 30 minutes a day interacting with Alex. She fed her, cleaned the litter, changed the water and even took out our trash cans on garbage day. Alex and Ed are awesome! They have been our dog walker for 6 months coming multiple times a week and we couldn't be happier. Milo (our dog) is basically our kid, so we want a dog walker to take care of him as we would. They always send us a text update of when Milo was on his walk so we know exactly when he went potty last (even with detail if we he went both #1 and #2). The pictures that come along with the update are even better. We are always excited to get to see his little adventures and where he went on a walk to. They are very responsive by text or email if you have questions or need to change your schedule. We even utilized their taxi service when Milo was in our wedding. They were on time and picked up Milo from our wedding venue after our ceremony to take him back home for a walk. Ed and Alexandra are 2 of the hardest working pet sitters we've had the pleasure of using. Not only are they the "Affordable" pet sitters they are also reliable and lovable. We have used them several time to take care of our 2 very special dogs. Oreo and Bella absolutely love Ed who faithfully looks in on them in the morning, making sure they are fed and taking them out for a walk. Ed usually handles the dogs he's happy to come and check on them multiple times during the day. We usually have them come by In the evening to take the dogs for another evening walk.
