The second was to move some of their stuff in Georgia to my place in Kansas City. And this most recent was to help me rearrange my furniture around their furniture and ditch an old mattress. Every single time, the guys have been efficient, careful, thoughtful, and incredibly polite. Each of these moves has involved old, kind of fragile, really meaningful family furniture, and it has always gotten where it needs to go in perfect condition. I carefully prepared by packing additional boxes, labeling everything clearly, and organizing where items should go in the new apartment. About three hours into the move, the crew said the truck was full and left a large amount of my belongings behind at the original house. When we arrived at the apartment, the movers damaged the floor in the entryway and initially denied responsibility even after I showed them photos of the condition beforehand. The service advertised as "white glove" was never delivered. Items removed from walls were not rehung, furniture was not fully set up, and much of the crew stood around waiting for payment while the job remained incomplete. To make matters worse, I paid over $2,000, and the company ultimately refused to return to finish the job. I was left with three truckloads of my belongings still at the house, which I then had to move myself. The movers themselves were polite, but the planning, coordination, and follow-through from management were extremely disappointing. I expected professional service and instead experienced property damage and an incomplete move.

I had never…read morerented a dumpster before so I had questions including the total price, what could be placed in it, what do we need to do for drop off/pick up; and Brittany took the time to answer my questions. I was able to have the dumpster on the side of the garage where I wanted it and not just where the driver put it like other companies said. When the dumpster arrived, the outside was clean and a beautiful blue. It wasn't an eyesore sitting in front of the house. It isn't fun to do a cleanup of a basement so I appreciated the Citywide team making the project seamless from their end. One dumpster load wasn't enough for my project but I was able to get another one delivered even though it was the holiday season.
