We were greeted by Jeffrey Slaton, and informed him what we were looking for, and what our size limitations were. He directed us to several different sets, and we had decided on one particular set. Jeffrey then went to check to see if it was in stock, with my wife in tow. While they were busy doing that, I continued to look around, and spotted a set we hadn't seen before. I sat at it, and thought it would be the perfect set for our dining area. When he and my wife came back to find me, I suggested it to my wife, and she agreed it would suit our home dining space. We also purchased a bench to go with the dining set, and a desk. Jeffrey was very courteous, very accommodating, answered all our questions, and most of all, didn't pressure us into making a decision. We would definitely shop at The Furniture Warehouse in Ellenton again, if we have any future furniture needs. They have a great selection at many different price points.

We were buying two $900/each recliners then were told it would be $149 for delivery. To soften the blow he said that would cover all purchases for a year. We then decided to also purchase a chair and a couch. Well, they added on another $50 delivery. What? He had just said it would cover all orders for 12 months. Nope. The couch was a floor model so it adds on another $50. One of the back corners had the back loose for the about 10 inches towards the top. The salesperson said he would have someone there staple it back. When we received the couch, the upper portion of the back had indeed been restapled. However, the rest of that corner below that was flopping open. Someone who said she was in charge of the repair dept. at corporate called and said that they would do nothing to correct it. She said that it was a floor model, therefore we had implicitly accepted any and all damage. That seems like a pretty nasty response. Doubly so since it was NOT damaged like that when we bought it.

They didn't call me so I called them and it had arrived. They must only deal with dented and damaged appliances, but I thought I was waiting 2 months and getting a new undamaged item. I pre-paid the full amount for the merchandise when I ordered but the delivery charge is a separate transaction as they use a third-party trucking company which wasn't a problem as they called ahead and arrived on time. I met the delivery driver curbside as they unboxed the item to find significant damage beyond repair. I've posted the photos of the damage so you could have a good laugh! I refused shipment and immediately as the damage was catastrophic. The salesman agreed to refund both the purchase price and shipping charge and send me an email receipt but that never happened......too busy with customers. You're only as good as their next sale! After looking closely at the photos of the damage I concluded that the refrigerator was damaged before it was packed for shipping as the packing material wasn't damaged on the outside...in other words they knowingly shipped me a damaged refrigerator after waiting 2 months. It looks like it was poked by a forklift and dropped to a concrete floor. Unless you're feelin' lucky, avoid this company like the plague!

My wife contacted them as soon as we found out. The owner not only claimed they absolutely didn't do it, which I would expect, but also then demanded proof about damage. When my wife supplied pictures, the owner questioned if the pictures were genuine and demanded a time stamp picture, which we supplied. When I called to follow up not only did the owner not call me back (for over a week), but when I called back to reach him he was immediatly very defensive and didn't let me speak. He said someone else was supposed to call me back. He kept interrupting me and even after I asked him to let me speak and make my point, he got upset and kept talking over me. While this may be a small commercial dispute ($100) to get the floor repaired, I would warn others not to deal with this company. It is easy to be nice when you are trying to sell something, but If they do not take care of small items and are super aggressive when you have a problem, I am not sure you want to deal with people like this. It was clear to me that they created the problem, but even though we disagree, how can they be trusted to handle a large order if they act like this over a small item. There was no offer to settle, no offer for a discount if we bought something. Nothing but that we were wrong. The owner told me that my rental company volunteered to credit me for the repair, but the rental company didn't create this damage. It was not not their responsibility. It is Pink Pineapple who did the damage. Obviously, we will never shop there again. Shoppers beware.

I'd had my eye on an exotic rug, from elsewhere, but I wasn't sure if it would overwhelm such an all-white room. After my sectional was delivered, my area rug arrived, but I needed accent pieces to bring it all together, so I called Paige for my complimentary service with Hudson's Interior Designer, Melodie. They came out a week later, took measurements, and we chatted it up about my likes, dislikes, colors, style, etc. A week later I went back to the store to see what they came up with. Melodie found the perfect tables to showcase the rug I loved, which were way out of my comfort zone, but I know sometimes you have to take it to that level. We played with some colors, styles, fabrics, shapes and textures, for the accent chair, and I finally chose the style she had originally suggested. While waiting for my accent pieces I made pillows to add some pop, and purchased a few more. The final pieces were delivered 3 days ago. I love the way it all came together.
