I've been doing business with Boyce since 2014 - I just noticed the new owners. Boyce normally has my brand of wild birdseed and that has come to a stop. The cashier told me she'd order some, supplies come in on Tuesday. So I did buy a non familiar brand and would return in a week for my familiar brand. I noticed after I brought the bag home it was full of weevils and when I returned the following week the cashier said she wasn't able to get my normal brand. I'm afraid Waxahachie lost a good feed store, my birds did! 2 visits out of 2 were a bust! read more

Great little coop. We used to visit a lot when we lived in the area, came to see if they had something specific. The outside still looks the same, very country rustic, old barn. They had taken out the food trays that allowed someone to scoop out bird food, dog food, and other critter foods and pay by the pound. Sad that it's gone. Staff was still very nice and helpful. Place still has the old dusty look. to it. Through another door they have a separate feed area, have many bags of eats for the critters and livestock. There is also a gift shop attached, has some nice and pretty items, some are priced a bit more than I'm comfortable paying, but they are nice. read more

The new owners are doing a great job. The store is way more efficient, organized, and the people are very helpful. Prices are competitive and they do have a wide range of offerings. It's just a fun store to go in and look around too. Worth a visit and definitely a great source for Livestock operations. They're always friendly and helpful and rarely don't have what I need. read more

Top Notch Feed Store!!! There are so many "pros" about this store it may be hard to remember and list them in this review! My husband and I had our first experience of a feed store just a week prior to this one and were blown away by the courtesy of the staff and the selection at this store. I mean the location of this one is awesome because it is among lots of other antique shopping and restaurants. We just went to get some hay and it was a very quick transaction and the employee (wish I had his name) loaded it up for us. It was close to closing time and at most places employees are ready to hit the door running, while here they were preparing to close up shop but welcomed customers. Shopper's Alert!!! You would never suspect it but this feed & grain store has great shopping. They've dedicated several spots to gifts, clothes and knick knacks and I enjoyed shopping here as much or more than a lot of boutiques I've been in. This place is just off the Waxahachie square down by the renovated train depot. I bought a little pub sign and two cast iron mice. If it weren't for credit card shock, there was tons more that I was interested in. Fashion galoshes (they're all the rage right now) and neat things for the kitchen ... Definitely worth checking out if you are anywhere near the area. read more

This is the best and most well equipped feed store in Ellis County. They have everything a feed store should have plus western wear(boots, belts, jeans, shirts), gifts(texas souvinir type stuff), and a pretty well stocked hardware section. It's like a mini Tractor Supply with better stuff. The people that work there have been there forever and are very knowledgeful and friendly. It's got a great hometown feel. Always my first choice place to get feed. read more
