To my shock, the manager on duty, Kevin, responded dismissively and refused to help me, saying the shop was "too busy." Despite my distress, he essentially told me to "eff off." I then took my car to another shop -- also very busy -- and they managed to fix the wiper in under a minute. If a busy shop can handle a simple fix without drama, it's hard to justify staying with Belmont. After two decades of loyalty, I'll no longer use Belmont. My partner won't either. I'll be warning friends and family: if you want dependable service and respectful treatment, go somewhere else. Belmont -- your "too busy for customers" attitude guarantees you won't be so busy for long.

I showed up at 8am Friday, they couldn't find my paperwork or a scheduled appt for me and then said my appt had been for the previous day...IT WAS NOT! The 2 woman at the front desk then said they had sent me a text mssg reminding of the appt, THEY DID NOT, and when I asked to see this text mssg they sent me, they could not, and then and only then acknowledged that no text mssg had been sent, but continued to tell me it was my fault, in front of three other customers nonetheless! I have one car, one broken windshield, and only had one appt booked with them to keep track of, they spend everyday booking multiple appts each day to keep track of, who's more likely to have made the error, but no, they still just kept blaming it on me (and with attitude)! Went to Speedy Glass instead where they're polite, efficient, and give you a loaner car for free! I recently took my car there and got the run around on when the car would be finished - anywhere from 13 to 16 to 21 days. Dropped the car off on a Tuesday and it didn't go into the shop until Friday (got a text on the Friday afternoon before the long weekend) so I could have kept it for a couple of days and not used a rental car. They told me 3 times that the parts had come in and then I find out that some were on back order from Germany and that's why it took so long. No one mentioned this issue. They need to improve their customer service, work on customer expectations and communications. They were very proud of the fact that they would text me the progress of repairs but every time it was from a different person with more bad news. I lodged a complaint with BCAA about this and a note will be put on their file. I believe that something happened with this as suddenly the car was ready a week before the last projected end date. So maybe its good to complain, but a customer shouldn't have to. I must say the quality of workmanship was good, but their customer service left me wondering if we would take a car there again.
