My husband's family has been coming to this resort for over 30 years! I spent the past four days there with them and it was so relaxing. The resort is quiet and peaceful and quite expansive. Meals are served in the main building and they are so delish!! I had the pleasure of tasting the pot roast, prime rib, pork tenderloin. I've come to Boyd's with a large group in early September for 3 years now, and there is no better place for relaxation and a great trip! The American Plan aspect is the best part; all the meals are included in your price, and since we have a large group every year (10+), we split bait, boats, etc amongst the group, making sure we all have access to top-notch equipment for the whole time we're there. The staff is outstanding, very knowledgable and extremely nice (the owner himself usually helps us). They have very reasonable rates for off-property trips to other area lakes and the Flambeau River (across the road) Boyd's is all-around excellent, just hope you can get in (they fill very quickly), and judging by the fact that we see the same groups year after year, Boyd's is apparently a tradition for many others as well... read more
