They say they're going to that was very impressive and it helped me out a lot. The pricing was exactly what I would've expected, and the estimate they gave me was exactly the initial price. They told me no changes.

My Honda had 142,000 miles on it when the transmission light went on. I figured it was a sensor, as the fluid looked good and it would be early for a Honda to have a transmission problem. None the less, I towed my car to Honda. They told me it would be more than $10,000 to replace the transmission. I could not believe it. Its my 4th Honda, and if you take care of them, they take care of you. I talked to the folks in service and they assured me that I needed a new transmission. This was devastating news as my car is worth about $10,000. So basically my car was totalled. I decided to call around and the reviews were good for Gateway. They said they could replace the transmission for $7000 something. Still brutal, but better than $10,000. After they looked at the car, they called right away to say it was a "switch" and they called Honda. Honda had the part. They got the part FROM Honda, fixed it an hour and my TOTAL BILL WAS $247. Absolute honest people. SAVED me. Unfortunately, I thought Honda had my back, and I will never go there again. Additionally I PAID Honda for that false diagnosis. Take your car to Gateway!! Two thumbs up!

I immediately returned, but after a brief inspection I was told there was nothing wrong. When I left the shop, the warning alarm came on again. I called Auto Stop, explained that the warning had returned, and was again assured there was nothing wrong. I was told to wait and see if the alarm came on again after driving. Unfortunately, the problem persisted, and I could smell coolant burning on the hot engine. I made it home just before coolant began dripping from the vehicle. At that point, I had the van towed to another repair shop. The second shop found that the primary coolant hose from the reservoir to the engine had been installed incorrectly and was approximately 3/4 inch too short. They also discovered a second hose with a large bulge that was on the verge of rupturing. Both issues required immediate repair. What disappointed me most was not simply that mistakes were made, but that my concerns were repeatedly dismissed. After the warning alarm came on twice within minutes of leaving the shop, I expected a thorough inspection of the cooling system rather than reassurance that nothing was wrong. Because of the improper installation, I incurred more than $500 in additional repair costs, plus the cost of towing the vehicle to another shop. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Auto Stop. The quality of the installation, the lack of careful follow-up, and the poor customer service left me with significant additional expense and inconvenience.

Scott looked it over, called me back and said "you're not going to like this call..." Turns out the rings were bad, I need a new engine. On top of that, the blend doors in my heater box were bad, and my a/c system was shot (I was already aware of this). Keyser's completely rebuilt my truck. New engine, HVAC.. three pages of parts. Picked my truck up, drove it for 1000 miles. No leaks, no problems. I can tell skilled technicians did the work. A/C is freezing cold. Truck runs like brand new. I appreciate Keyser's attention to detail Scott's honesty and transparency, and making sure I'm happy, even after I paid my bill. I will be taking my truck here from now on. Excellent service and value.

Told them that these were most likely the issues and was wanting to get some number on how much it was be to get those taken care of. Got back to me with a $2,000 quote for a battery and spark plug replacement. I previously have gotten those plugs replaced elsewhere for $600. Told them I will pass on that price and wanted to come grab my truck. Charged me a $200 diagnostic fee, and told me the issue was the battery and the spark plugs - which is what I told them in the first place. I understand there is a diagnostic fee/shop fees/ labor charges.... However this was ridiculous. Not to mention they didn't even plug my coils back in.
