I purchased a used 2015 Jeep Wrangler from Billion Automotive Group in Bozeman, Montana. The…read moresalesman was excellent, however I had a problem with Tony in the F and I department. I originally purchased 3900 extended warranty for the jeep. After consideration I decided to cancel my extended warrantee as the jeep only had 12K miles. I filled out the form with Tony in finance department and he said he would fill in the rest and fax the form to the warranty company. He stated the warranty company would send a check to Billion and they in turn would send it to the bank that had the loan. 45 Days later this had not happened. I followed up with the general manager of the dealership and he personally handled the paperwork to the warranty company. Today December 1,2017 I called the warranty company and they said the check had been sent on November 22, 2017. It should not take eight weeks to get this fixed. Be careful with extended warranties they are grossly over priced and Mopar will sell you a 100 k warranty for roughly 1/3 the price.

Worst service department in the history of service departments!!! My daughter bought a jeep…read morerenegade from Billion. After the first year, her engine blew. She lives in Livingston, had it towed to Yellowstone Motors. They were willing and able to replace the engine in a few weeks. My son owns his own company and purchased several vehicles from Billion as well. He had a horrible time with said service department, and wrote an awful but true review on Google. The next day Chris did a tie-back with my daughters car which made it to where only Billion could do the work. It took Billion over 7 months to fix it, oh, and they do NOT HAVE LONER CARS, so they take their time. Got there to pick it up, no AC. They forgot to charge the AC. Filled it, one week later no AC. They couldn't get it in for two weeks. Took it in. They told my daughter it was a broken line and would have to pay deductible AGAIN. They had to disconnect it when they changed engines. Tony said that was not true. We had another company look at it while waiting 2 weeks, so we knew it was their fault. Tony said to come get her car Billion would no longer work on her car. Steve GM., refused to talk to us. NEVER BUY ANYTHING THERE!!! There service department sucks, except Tara. She is the only silver lining. The rest have No integrity, no sincerit, and unethical practices!!!

Auto Stop installed a rebuilt engine in my VW Vanagon. Within three miles of leaving the shop, the…read morelow coolant warning alarm came on. I immediately returned, but after a brief inspection I was told there was nothing wrong. When I left the shop, the warning alarm came on again. I called Auto Stop, explained that the warning had returned, and was again assured there was nothing wrong. I was told to wait and see if the alarm came on again after driving. Unfortunately, the problem persisted, and I could smell coolant burning on the hot engine. I made it home just before coolant began dripping from the vehicle. At that point, I had the van towed to another repair shop. The second shop found that the primary coolant hose from the reservoir to the engine had been installed incorrectly and was approximately 3/4 inch too short. They also discovered a second hose with a large bulge that was on the verge of rupturing. Both issues required immediate repair. What disappointed me most was not simply that mistakes were made, but that my concerns were repeatedly dismissed. After the warning alarm came on twice within minutes of leaving the shop, I expected a thorough inspection of the cooling system rather than reassurance that nothing was wrong. Because of the improper installation, I incurred more than $500 in additional repair costs, plus the cost of towing the vehicle to another shop. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Auto Stop. The quality of the installation, the lack of careful follow-up, and the poor customer service left me with significant additional expense and inconvenience.
