I am appalled, and quite frankly, disgusted with the entitlement and inconsiderate jackassery shown by some of my fellow Yelpers after reading their reviews for this Gas Station. It boils down a simple phrase: When you gotta poo, the BP in Bridgman is the place for you. I had enjoyed a Portillo's beef sandwich (dipped in sauce, with cheese) not 24 hours before chance led me to drive through Bridgman, so you can imagine the vulnerability and anxiety I felt as I exited the car and prairie-dogged my way towards the restroom. When I arrived, I felt at peace and did my business with ease and comfort. Jane D., from Chicago: I'm sorry for your ankle incident, I really am. I stubbed my toe on my doorframe this morning and you bet, emotions poured out in the form of expletives. I cursed privately, and got on with my day. But for you to blame my man, working at a gas station for not "having (the ground) repainted" is uncalled for. He went the extra mile despite a statewide minimum wage of $8.50, got you ice because you tripped on a handicap-accessible ramp, and you attack his kind soul. Do you think that other gas stations in western Michigan are better equipped to accommodate your clumsiness? Perhaps it's been a while since you've taken a roadtrip. The bathrooms here had granite countertops. Dyson Airblade hand dryers! Labatt Blue Light in stock. Please, for your own safety, slow down a bit. Next time you whine about a "safety code," you really ought to think about the humans working hard to ensure every other piece of your experience in Bridgman is flawless. I frequently stop at this station on my way to/from the Grand Rapids area from the Chicago area. Usually, the station offers reasonable accommodations, though the restrooms sometimes need attention. Yesterday, I stopped there around noon, stepped out of my car into what I thought was a puddle of water, but turned out to be a puddle of gas. My shoes were soaked in gas. I reported this to the cashier, and he said there was nothing he could do about it. I am concerned that there was no awareness on the station's part for safety , and also am pretty annoyed that after soaking and washing my shoes, they still smell like gas. I tried to call and talk to the manager today, but the call was not answered. read more

Whoever works the night shift literally locks the store I had to use the restroom and they locked the doors even with all the lights on and being a store thats open 24/7 I went on may 15nth 2026 at 11pm and store was locked. read more

Okay. Know that the 4 star rating is for the bathrooms here! Yep. The bathrooms alone are worth a stop at this BP. Oh sure. They have gas that is reasonably priced for a highway location. They have plenty of snacks to purchase and the guy working the counter is functional if not sort of friendly. But those bathrooms? Best ones for miles. Granite counter tops. All new self flushing toilets, Soap, hand sanitizer and hand lotion in the women's room. And hand dryers that actually work! Sometimes it's not the gas that draws you in but the bathrooms. Both are necessities but only one can make my toes curl in disgust. Not so the case here. read more

Sprained my ankle so badly last weekend on their sidewalk (where handicap access ramp into the store and sidewalk meet are NOT fully painted and marked) when I could not see the change in elevation walking in to the store. I asked the man working behind the counter to have it repainted (I could faintly see the outline as I looked for what tripped me) and he looked at me with a blank stare and said "it's handicap access." I asked for a bag for ice and as I was sitting in my car icing the injury, saw ANOTHER patron entering the building trip for the same reason. The following day I required an x-Ray to rule out a break! This is very dangerous, and requires immediate attention from the owner/manager. Please repaint your sidewalks so they are up to safety code! read more

Don't usually review service stations, but after being discouraged by other reviews I wanted to provide a balanced perspective. The station is clean and well laid out. Good selection of products in the convenience area, albeit a bit pricey. This is to be expected as a convenience store with few other options nearby. Station has a Quiznos inside as well which smelled wonderful and had several patrons but we did not eat there. All in all this is not the biggest or nicest I have seen, so Four stars, but more than acceptable as a stop off on the way to Warren Dunes. Certainly not the extreme painted by other reviews. read more
