Top notch and honest; the way business used to be - old skool. Had some issues coming to town and needed to get my entire brake system looked at top to bottom as well as the flex pipe at the end of my cat convertor/resonator 'removed and replaced.' Bryan handles most if not all of the business himself and he has top notch techs who get the job done. It all started from a small nail and the fix of a flat for $10. We were heading back home after traveling for Christmas in horrible weather when we slid off the road and hit a guard rail, our wheel got stuck bent out and we were stranded at the gas station so we called up Bryan's. Brian's Automotive I have zero confidence in Brian's Automotive. So I bought a used car and took it there, because a family member said they do good work and are honest. After dropping it off to have the AC repaired and asked for them to look the car over to ensure it wasn't a lemon. The first visit costed more than the cost of the car and they called for it to be picked up less than 24 hours from me dropping it off. I expressed any apprehensions and asked if there was some sort of assurance they could give me that they stand behind their work. Brian immediately said we stand by our work for 12 months and said the car should be good for a hundred miles with the new timing belt, that it was a fine car it just had not had the necessary service it should have had during the life of the vehicle, but they have taken care of everything and it's good to go. I left feeling confident that my money was well spent and they did a good job. 10 days later the AC stopped working. I called and arranged to drop the car off. Once again less than 24 hours after dropping it off they said they had previously replaced an intake hose or line and that revealed that the condenser needed to be replaced and it would be ready shortly. That seemed legitimate enough. He assured me that he would not charge me for recharging the AC system, because they had already charged me. It appeared on the receipt that was not the case that I paid for labor again and for the AC to be charged again. 2 days later the car won't start. I go to Auto-Zone to have the battery and alternator checked and the positive battery terminal was loose. I guess that is a possible oversight? A few days later the car won't start again. The electrical systems seem totally fine, no lag in any alerts or functions. The car just won't start. An hour later it starts right up. Weird and frustrating, this happens a few times over the course of a week, then the check engine light comes on and the car starts running really funny like the idol is low or one of the cylinders is misfiring. I call Brian's and explain what is going on and he says he is sure it's the starter and he will have a look at it. So we drop it off again. At least this time it takes a couple of days and he calls me explaining the car kept starting and it took time for it to not start so they could diagnose the problem and that it was going to need a complete tune up to fix the rough running engine. At this point I have nearly paid three time the cost of the used car and I believe they are just destroying my automobile every time I drop it off. What other bolts have been loosened and not tightened back up like the battery terminal. Nothing they have said they have done seems to have been done, except the AC. Which I paid for twice. Also that 12 month warranty meant nothing. I feel taken advantage of. I not only do not trust that they have repaired my car, I believe they are sabotaging my vehicle and bleeding me of my hard earned money. Avoid this place. I have zero confidence in their integrity or competence as auto mechanics. read more

This guy Bryan is a joke, a conman and just plain incompetent. He charged us $430 for a quick fix to get us off the lot. Car drove off fine, but has yet to work since then. I wouldn't trust anything to this guy or his "business" , just unprofessional and outright wrong. read more

Drop my car off to Bryan's automotive yesterday to get it checked and fixed They called me at 9:44 to tell me the issue so I had them work on it and called them at 2:56 Bryan answered and told me that the parts just came in and that they would call back shortly he called back at 3:16 and told me it was finished so I went to get it and everything seemed fine I took it to my girlfriends place which is only 5 minutes away from that auto shop thinking everything was good the next morning at 4am I tried to turn on my car and tried to shift into drive it would not get out of park I really do not understand how I can bring my car to that place to get it fixed and it doesn't work within 12 hours of them fixing it I feel like that business took advantage me and left me with other issues. read more

I started getting a rattling rumble sound from my car, sounding like an old clunker all of the sudden. I took it in here and explained the sound to them. They said they were pretty busy but would take a look. Two days later they told me it was rust on my rotars and they could clean them off for a couple hundred but that it wasn't necessary. I felt something more was wrong with the car, so I opted out of repairs and picked up my car. I took it to another shop for a second opinion and it turns out my exhaust pipe had a bad crack/hole in it, which they missed. I'm not sure if they just didn't look under the hood or if they missed it, but either way I'm glad I went and got it looked at somewhere else. read more

We live in Atlanta and came to Weko Beach for vacation. On our way up, our muffler completely fell of of the car! We decided to rig it up, and deal with it when we got to Michigan. Upon arriving in Bridgman, we decided we had gone long enough and needed to get it fixed. We saw Bryan's Automotive and thought "What the heck, let's try it". Bryan himself took our car in and was done in a matter of 20 minutes. We had already assumed that the damage would be about $300 to fix, so we were FLOORED when he said he fixed it for $75. Any other automotive repair shop would have told you you needed to replace the catalytic converter...or need a whole new muffler...but Bryan said he could just weld the old muffler back on and it would be good as new. I really respect this guy's honesty and integrity...its not often you find an honest car guy. I wish would could bring Bryan and his team back to Atlanta with us...because if this had happened in Atlanta they would have probably tried to sell us a whole new car, including 20 inch rims :) read more

Had a vehicle that needed work done and I do not live close. I brought it in and was told I would get an estimate in a couple days. Never got a call back so I called, They said they were having trouble finding parts but will call me back tomorrow.....well that tomorrow turned into 10 days and still no call. I called and was told They will call back.....never did. Finally got a hold of them and they were rude with me. They said cannot find parts and I will have to pick it up. I looked online and was able to find all the parts needed in 10 minutes. Had to get my vehicle towed home to a real mechanic. Complete waste of time and money.....very unprofessional company read more
