It's a touch free wash and I expected it to be like any car wash but it was not. As I'm sitting there watching the dog get nervous I wondered at the sign that said something about "tri-colored foam." Huh?? And then it began...PINK, BLUE, YELLOW! Swirls and swirls of this colored foam blanketing my car. What fun! But really all that matters is the result... She said "sure, I will save some for you tomorrow." Her name is Chantella. When I went to get a newspaper yesterday, I took an ice creme bucket with me and she had a couple quarts of coffee grounds set aside for me. I went back today and asked for her name. The woman at the counter gave it to me, smiled and told me I could get them anytime I needed to. That kind of customer service keeps me coming back.

The inventory is well-organized and fresh. This store has fresh fruit, home-made take-n-bake pizza, breakfast sandwiches (sometimes free samples!), an amazing selection of hot or cold coffee beverages, and spotless bathrooms. Most importantly, aside from prices of course, are the extremely friendly workers. The people Kwik Trip hires are extremely accommodating, polite, and helpful. I was on my way from Sun Prairie to Watertown, running a little late (my usual state, which I'm not proud of) and in need of some caffeine. I stopped at Kwik Trip to grab coffee and top up my gas tank. It's pretty big side, and very clean (I was only in the coffee/hot food to go area). They had a few breakfast sandwiches left at 11am but mostly lunch stuff (chicken sandwiches, breadsticks, pork sandwiches). There was a new apple 'pie', too, which I grabbed (I am a giant sucker for apples and anything with sugar, so ...) . The coffee was as good as ever, but the apple thing was just a flour tortilla with some apple pie filling and spices, folded up and heated. Not very exciting, but not bad either. It was only $1, so I'm not heart-broken over it. Oh, and there is a big condiment bar, which I haven't seen at other Kwik Trips (and you've known I've seen a few).
