I went to the service desk and complained. He did refund the overcharges, but seriously, that is a huge scam. With prices what they are today, this is criminal. I will never check out at any store without scrutinizing the receipt, which no one should have to do. UPDATE: OK, the 4th out of 5 items was a watermelon. I did all the right things. Hollow when tapped, yellow underbelly, dark green, and heavy for its size. But when I cut it open, the meat was mostly white and the one taste I tried was waxen. That was the straw! I went back to the store, watermelon in tow and asked for the manager. Kelly came out, heard my story, saw the offending melon apologized profusely. Replaced the melon and even though I told her I had been given the money for the overcharges, refunded the total of the original receipt. She thanked me for letting her know and went to work on making things right. Stuff happens, but it is how you deal with that stuff that counts and she did well.
