Very big with the locals still has a Subway hooked up to it They have a Hot stuff Pizza which is basically just like quick little oven and individual pizzas served up. Sandwiches serve daily and evening. Very clean bathrooms what I came in in the evening Grab the quick pulled pork sandwich it was nothing fancy but it was good. Got a cold one went out to the truck and went to sleep. It's limited truck parking you can park a big rig between the Hardee's and the station you can sit about six or seven trucks in overnight. But a nice local little stop across the street you can walk over there's a McDonald's or Taco John's a few other things and walking distance if you want. And Hardee's of course is right next door. They do a real good job keeping this little station up here.

I was pulling a fifth wheel camper so my fueling options are limited. They locked the doors and turned off the pumps. It might be company policy, but policies need to change. I had 50 miles of range remaining because the last 2 stations I stopped at were doing the same thing. All we needed was fuel so we could stay out in front of the storm front and evade the hail and high winds. We chanced it and drove on. Lucky to make it to a different fuel stop that didn't turn the pumps off. Kwik Star, do better. Don't strand people and lock them outside during a tornado.

I even grabbed the furthest one in the back because I was aware of the step process because I've worked with Kwik Star before in Dubuque Iowa branch. And the food was purchased well within the given time frame, (it was 3:01 pm time on my receipt) and it was very hard and not chewable. Looks so good, doesn't it? In this case, looks can sometime be deceiving. Well I got food there before but it was not this bad. Today, I was a little bit disappointed about the service/food. This was how I knew I was not being helped by the cashier to the fullest; For example with cashiers' responses with; yeah uh huh yeah uh huh! And I asked the cashier; if I can attach my rewards to my purchase and cashier replied "yeah uh huh yeah uh huh again and by that time my pin# and payment already gone through and done and I was thinking like I'm out of here". I've also tried the car wash in the past too and I'm not a fan. I bought the most expensive package and when done I still had soap residue on my car after the final drying step. I'd rather use the other car wash in town. It seems like strike 3; service/food/car wash, right? Well I wouldn't count the service against them this time since I've always had good service when I went there in the past.
