The selection was very limited. The slushy and fountain machines were down, along with most of the other hot food section. There was a mini fridge / freezer as well as ramen noodle soups in a cup and a microwave to cook the food in. Although I'm not sure where you get the hot water for the soup. Service was eh, not friendly nor rude. Hubby used the restroom and seemed disgusted by it so I recommend checking out ones at the other two restaurants. I popped in on my way out of Rex and while I didn't need a refill on my gas tank, I did on my coffee cup! When I walked in I was greeted by the gas station attendant immediately who was friendly and welcoming. Overall, this is a nice addition to this area that otherwise does not offer a whole lot. Service was good, the store is clean, well kept and in good condition from the inside out. Not that I am in Rex often, but on the off chance I happen to head down 675 again, I at least know this Valero and DD will be waiting for me!

Valero gas station has many filling stations so not as likely to wait in a line for gas. Food! This gas station has not only one but two food options. First it has a Dunkin Donuts which seems to serve breakfast all day because I got a Beyond sausage breakfast sandwich at 2:30 in the afternoon. The second food option is a Subway. Of course inside the Valero there are many snack options like fresh fruit and a large selection of beverages. I spent a bit of time in this area for work and got very accustomed to this QT for those gas prices, fountain drinks and slices of pizza! It is in good condition given the amount of traffic it gets and is a good area surrounded by quite a bit. Cleanliness wise it was hit and miss for me. On some days I would swing by without issue and on others it would look as if the store and lot had not been cleaned in several days. Service here was equally hit and miss. Nothing terrible, but not your friendliest. Overall, I love me a good QT and while this location is not my favorite, I would not mind swinging back in when in the area.
