AVOID this business! I wish there was an option to give zero!…read more I was looking for a periodontist who accepts my insurance. I called multiple offices in the area, many said they don't accept my insurance and a couple, including CT Periodontal and Implants Associates said they would accept. Someone from their office called and reviewed my out of pocket cost for the surgery and said I have to pay almost $200 out of pocket. When I went there, the doctor did a comprehensive gum exam (which was not what I was referred for) and they gave me papers to sign. They explained the values written here are before insurance and my insurance covers everything except $200. Just a few days before surgery, somebody called from their office and told me your insurance does not cover this operation which was a big lie!!! I asked whether I can cancel my appointment and the lady told me I have to pay a fine, as it is too close to the surgery date. She also told me they would give me a 200 discount if I pay it by check and not credit card (which again was a trick!!) I trusted them that my insurance does not cover this operation, and I accepted and paid $1000 with check. After the surgery, I got a new bill to pay $160 for a comprehensive exam, which was not what I had asked and was there for. They also billed me $200 more (actually there was no discount for paying with check!!!) The interesting part is that I called my insurance and realized that my insurance covers 80% of this operation and they are out of network!!! They literally lied to me, not just once but also many times!! Now they are sending me letters that they are reporting to credit. I have already paid $1000 for a procedure that would cost me $200 with insurance and they are still reporting my credit. Don't go to their offices!!

They made me have a great experience and I would definitely trust them again!

Numerous and necessary visits: To extract the wounded, and in my case a bone graft, post-op check & template fitting, install of the implant, the last check, and finally, back to my dentist for a customized crown. Science & Engineering! The process in my case just shy of 11 months. The staff: Wow, what pleasant professionals! Absolutely, no complaints. Tapping out my annual dentistry insurance, yes. Significant out of pocket, yes. Worth the time and price, YES by all means.

I myself have been seen by them for over 50 years and I'm happy to say I have all my natural teeth, not a single denture! The cleanings given by his assistants are thorough yet gentle. Xrays are taken regularly. When I had my braces as a teen, coordination with the orthodontist was excellent. I would highly recommend Dr. Liftig to anyone looking for a kind and knowledgeable practitioner. He listens to my concerns and cares a lot about not just my teeth and gums, but my overall health as well. Personally, I would not see any other dentist, not because I am set in my ways, but because he has proven himself time and again to be the very best at what he does.

Sure enough, he found a deep cavity, which we caught just in time. He is a gentle man, both in work and temperament. He never rushes, explaining every step and answering questions. It's clear that he really enjoys the people side of medicine and understands the power of a doctor who treats you with care and respect. I don't have dental fears myself, but I would recommend him to anyone who does. The filling required a delicate touch, and he showed great attention to detail in his work. I felt in good hands. The staff is very welcoming. It is a small practice that clearly garners longtime patients. I'm quite surprised to be the first Yelp review. I was paying out of pocket, and he made clear in the new patient information that a schedule could be found if the cost exceeded what I could muster that day. I'll be coming back and recommending him to others.
