Good common sense professional office staff and the doctor is brilliant. Doctor is calm, experienced, and provided sound advice.

DON"T go here! My experience was horrible. This Dr. has poor bed manors. I canceled my F/U w/him. I wld rather go to a walk-in. He rather prescribe narcotics instead of antibiotics. Literally saw the assistant sterilizing their instruments and after grabbing them with her bare hands (no gloves). Then when she notice I was across from her she saw I was watching her she slipped on some gloves. And now looking at some reviews. For those patients who has had an infection that maybe why? I had my molar pulled and the tooth broke so then he had to surgically remove it. It was a brutal experience. Sent home w/narcotics but no antibiotics, specially after the service i had. I will be in contact w/my dental insurance to make sure there is no fraudulent billing and/or copays. 23 years in the healthcare myself can not say anything positive about this doctor and/or his practice. It a matter of time and things will catch up. Again, I will not be going to my f/u. I will be contacting my insurance to make sure they don't try to bill for the f/u visit read more

Okay...I was putting off getting a tooth pulled for over two years. The extraction was somewhat complex and I was nervous. I went to Dr. Bocciarelli last week to finally get it done. Dr. B is absolutely amazing. He knew I was nervous and put me at ease. He has a good sense of humor and disposition. His staff were also excellent and accommodating. My tooth was successfully pulled with minimal pain and swelling after the surgery. Dr. B also called me later that night to check in to see how I was doing. In hindsight, I honestly do not know why I waited to long to have the tooth pulled! I would highly recommend Dr. Bocciarelli. read more

I was refereed to Dr. B. by my dentist for the extraction of an impacted wisdom tooth that was starting to hurt really bad. the actual exaction took less than 5 minutes, the longest part was me going into and out of the gas to relax me. I went back a week later for my check up which i had described my face being in pain and not sleeping well. Dr. B. knew without even looking I had dry-socket :-( He promised me he was going to do something that would take the pain away in 30 minutes. He wasn't kidding - as I was driving home I noticed the pain subsiding and then it was gone! I slept SO good that night. I had to go back two more times to check on the socket and was then told it was good to go! The staff there are just wonderful! They are all so very nice. Dr. B. himself is such a great guy! He really knows his stuff - just go take a look at his work history and teaching gigs - this man is great! read more

THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD WITH A DOCTOR. I was referred to him to get my wisdom tooth pulled and I honestly wish I never went to him. When I went to his office, I felt heavily discriminated and very uncomfortable by him and his assistant prior and during my procedure. When he pulled my tooth out, he cut me on the side of my check which caused me a large amount of pain the entire week (more then the actual wisdom tooth). When I went for my follow up the next week, he was even more rude and I felt like he treated me very unfairly and disregarded my feelings. After explaining to him the amount of pain I was in and also telling him that I felt uncomfortable on my first visit from him and his staff, he REFUSED to treat me for the cut that he caused me and told me he didn't believe I was in "that much pain" (My jaw literally dropped when he said this). He literally told me he was not going to treat me and I should go home and take an Aleve. Never got a sorry from him instead he just talked to me like I was a child and didn't matter. I never witnessed a doctor refuse treatment especially on something they did/ worked on or treat a patient the way I was treated. I've never left a review (EVER!) but this experience really disgusted me and I never experienced this type of treatment from a so called "doctor". I would never go back to his office or even recommend anyone to visit this practice. read more

Dr. B is the best there is. All three of my kids have had to have teeth pulled for braces and they love him. He made it not scary for them. I moved to MA and still make the hike to Rocky Hill because he is that good. read more

5++++ stars! Dr. Bocciarelli and his entire staff are fabulous! Extremely skilled and the staff are very kind and personable. I have never had to wait longer than 5 minutes. The office is very accommodating. I should mention that when it comes to teeth problems, I have high anxiety and can be a difficult patient. Still, they bend over backwards to make the visit and procedures as easy and comfortable as possible. A+++! read more

This dentist is a charlatan and should not be allowed to practice dentistry! He did major surgery on my mouth without my knowledge or authorization! I am still in pain and with symptoms 3 weeks later, and although I never authorized the surgery, he wasted no time in billing me! I got the bill 1 1/2 weeks after the surgery! STAY WAY FAR AWAY from this practice! read more

Extremely disappointed! I actually walked out before even having my procedure done. I rarely ever review which says a lot. I called twice prior to my scheduled appointment to inquire about the cost of my appointment. I specifically informed them of my insurance and requested estimates of all parts of my procedure. I wanted to be sure I could pay them in full the day of. After filling out all of my paperwork I was informed that this dentist is out of network and the cost would increase, that I needed extra X-rays and a consult at an additional cost. At no point during my two prior conversations did anyone tell me that they were out of network and that I would need to pay for a consult and extra X-rays. My records were sent to their office ahead of time so they should have been prepared and informed me so that I could also be aware of the additional costs. In talking with the front desk staff I was told that it was my responsibility to find out if they were in network. Really? It's not as if I disregarded my responsibility, I called twice to discuss my insurance and cost. During both of my prior conversations why is it that neither staff person could inform me, "by the way we are out of network." That would have been the considerate thing to do. I took off of work to be at this appointment. At no point did anyone at the office apologize for the misunderstanding, error or inconvenience. They just put it on me, stated that they had no idea who I talked to and left it at that. For such an expensive procedure, I expected more than the irresponsibility, inconvenience or complete disregard for what I was experiencing.
