Only to be told that I have to LOSE WEIGHT, before he will even consider meeting with me for an appointment, not surgery an appointment. That is CRAZY! . I tried to find him on Florida Dept of health to view his records and he is no where to be found? Weird for a doctor that has been in practice so long??

I was given the appt. By Rothman Orthopedic downstairs. I was told Dr. Wang would be on the THIRD floor (no big deal) but After exiting onto the 4th floor is where my nightmare begins. The first employee I saw was a woman named Cee but she wouldn't Look at me as she sucked the straw of her orange soda so I went To the right and found a woman named "Rasche" she told me something Like she was done for the day and back to Cee I was sent. I told her that I was on the 3rd floor for a while and now I'm up here. Cee replies "Well, Why are you taking that out on me?" She then turned to Rasche and asked Her to "Please take care of 'this ONE' for me I can't deal with "this" now. I ignored that and said that I have An appt. With Dr. Wang......Cee instantly corrects me and said "IT'S WONG" (Rasche also corrected my mispronunciation of the Doctor's name) I told both of them that I had a problem with the kiosks that were at the Elevator's exit door and would Rasche please help me because it was now Past 3 pm. I got so infuriated that I asked myself why am I being subject to This horrible treatment and I haven't met the Doctor yet. I have a badly sprained right wrist and it's a month old. Finally I wander over To the seating area on the 4th floor and I see CEE and Rasche pointing at me While holding onto their IPAD and laughing at me. I mean, 20 or 25 minutes of thinking I'll be seeing the doc any minute now was a nudge disappointing. I had all the MRI films in front of me, and I almost got the impression that the nurse wanted me to read those over and draw my own conclusion! I ended up doing the uncouth thing of stepping the office to ask if they had forgotten I was there. In cases like that, it would be a good idea for the nurse to pop her head back in to say, sorry for the wait, the doc is running behind, and should be with you in 'x' minutes. We're not unreasonable people: we understand. When I worked for the airlines, I had what I consider my major contribution: my research found that, even more important than being on time was "Keeping pax informed, especially during delays and cancellations" - an attribute that was not measured at that time, but was quickly added to the lexicon of airline research. You see, things like weather and maintenance issues most pax would understand to be OUTSIDE of the control of the airline; but not even "bothering" to take 15 seconds to provide the most up-to-date information in any situation? That's on you, Airline, as it suggests that you really don't care enough about me, the pax, to give them what they need.

If you go with them prepare to have to keep making appointent after appointment with long waits in between, and to drive lots of miles as you go to the next doctor, who probably will "refer" you to another doctor in the next county. Nobody is interested in what the previous doctor said, every time you have to start from the beginning. And in some of the locations, especially Lake Nona and Columbia Street, you will face ridiculously long walks to get from the parking to the actual office, which is just great for people with orhopedic problems.
