I mean, 20 or 25 minutes of thinking I'll be seeing the doc any minute now was a nudge disappointing. I had all the MRI films in front of me, and I almost got the impression that the nurse wanted me to read those over and draw my own conclusion! I ended up doing the uncouth thing of stepping the office to ask if they had forgotten I was there. In cases like that, it would be a good idea for the nurse to pop her head back in to say, sorry for the wait, the doc is running behind, and should be with you in 'x' minutes. We're not unreasonable people: we understand. When I worked for the airlines, I had what I consider my major contribution: my research found that, even more important than being on time was "Keeping pax informed, especially during delays and cancellations" - an attribute that was not measured at that time, but was quickly added to the lexicon of airline research. You see, things like weather and maintenance issues most pax would understand to be OUTSIDE of the control of the airline; but not even "bothering" to take 15 seconds to provide the most up-to-date information in any situation? That's on you, Airline, as it suggests that you really don't care enough about me, the pax, to give them what they need.

The new surgeon who corrected Dr. Gideon's "hack job" stated when performing the surgery to correct everything, that he could actually pull the screws and brackets that were all loose and he could pull the hardware out with his fingers. My wife used a bone stimulator as requested by Dr. Gideon, it didn't help heal her foot.THE PAIN WAS SO UNBEARABLE! SHE REQUESTED AN APPOINTMENT AFTER SURGERY AND DR. LEWIS SAID THE PAIN WAS FROM SCAR TISSUE. WELL OF COURSE THERE IS GOING TO BE SCAR TISSUE SINCE EVERYTHING WAS LOOSE AND WALLOWED OUT FROM DR. GIDEONS POOR CHOICES DURING THE SURGERY. I gave this same Dr. a try without bringing my husband with me to the appt. without discussion I was assigned five X-rays the back in the waiting room. Discussion with Dr. was limited about my case, he spent most of the time asking me questions about mental health, my husband who is old never had one question about his mental health. The dr never examined me and told me I needed surgery. The lack of exam and extended questions about my life left me cold. Left and went to Mayo Clinic and was treated like a real patient.

Dr. Bachoura is the third orthopedist I have seen in the area for my hands/wrists and he is absolutely wonderful! I saw the Rothman Orthopedic building in downtown Orlando and thought, "Well, may as well try that practice." I am so happy they have their practice name on a skyscraper! From the moment I walked in, I was helped immediately by friendly staff. I could not use my right hand, and they made sure my new patient check in went smoothly. The reception area is large, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing, as are the radiology room and the patient rooms. Wait time was minimal for every step of my visit. I was impressed with the way the doctor and staff listened to my concerns and acknowledged and discussed them all with me. The doctor explained my issues and treatment plan very well in terms I could easily understand, and he was patient in listening to and answering all of my questions. I was also impressed to see very modern technology used which I have not seen in my many past visits to various orthopedists. I was at a level 10 pain when I entered the office. I was at a zero pain level when I left the office! I am very happy and content now knowing I have such a wonderful doctor and team to take care of my hands and wrists! I will be making an appointment with a shoulder specialist at the practice next week, and I will also be making an appointment for my husband (knee) very soon. They had good reviews here in Google and decided to give them a try. I have been to chiropractors before but most are expensive and wait times can get crazy! My experience from a phone call all the way to being treated was awesome. Rene was nice, attentive and more than happy to answer any questions. She made the appointment for me and when I showed up to be considered as a walk in a day early, she was able to put me on the schedule. I was treated by Dr. Mason and he was great! He is thorough when he reviews your paperwork and asks questions to understand how he can make you feel better. He told me in detail what was next and what to expect and he was nice, friendly, attentive, careful and sure did listen to my needs. After 1 session, I felt relieved and my pain lowered and it is tolerable, but will need a couple more sessions. I signed up for the monthly wellness plan and it is going to work for me. I arrived to my first appointment and was taken back to a room after filling out some paperwork for my initial evaluation. My physical therapist, Dr. Bastian, is a godsend. He was thorough in my initial evaluation and listened to my concerns intently and had a ton of helpful information to ease my mind about everything I am going through. I have had several sessions so far and every time I leave, I feel a bit more encouraged and confident. I trust that with his help and my hard work I will recover from this terrible injury. I will definitely be looking forward down the road when I can update this review when I am healed up! Regarding the facility, upon walking in, it is one large room with the front desk to the left and gym to the right. It is well kept and everything is disinfected after usage. Employees are masked.
