Every time I go there is something new (though there has also been a lot of downsizing). The store is run by a very friendly gentleman named Don who has been in the antiques business for decades. He knows a lot about the items that her has, and sometimes he's willing to make a deal especially if you're purchasing more than one item. Prices are generally fair. Definitely worth checking out.

As far as Todburn goes, their selection is on par with things I would have gone for: from the strange and unique to fun and playful. There is a particular bias towards Floridiana kitch, which I adore since I am a true Floridian gal. Lots of gator things or other vintage items you could have found at old gas stations of orange stands. Masks, kitchen wear, decorations, jewelry--they have a really unique selection of it all. They also have a pretty decent selection of vintage clothes. There were a few dresses I liked, but they were priced a bit much for me ($80 upwards, but I did see some cheaper clothes too). Other than that. Things were definitely within the affordable/inexpensive range, which is kind of an anomaly with antique stores. I didn't buy anything this trio, but I plan on coming back soon to see what new goodies they have!

The auctioneer has anger issues. I was right to lose confidence, 100% dodged a nightmare…read more I lost confidence because he refused to answer my questions about how the auction process works on multiple occasions. I simply wanted to know if I needed to pack my car with all the items for the first meeting. He refused to answer me. When I lost confidence because of this, he called me yelling at me making the assumption that I lost confidence because it took him too long to text me. How ridiculous is that accusation? I had just spent a month working hard to get ready for this auction. This auction house has very poor communication which resulted in my loss of confidence. Because I made the decision not to move forward with the auction, Scott called me and yelled at me with bogus accusations and rudely talked over me. When I was trying to explain he cut me off and continued yelling his ridiculous accusation. He could have easily turned the whole situation around if only he had his wits about him. All he had to say was, what do you need to know before the meeting. I am on the phone now and can answer questions. Instead, he came up with a fantastical accusation in a fit of anger and hurled it at me without thought or reason. Do I need to bring the valuables to the first meeting, very straight forward. It was too much trouble to communicate. Too much to say, yes bring the items and we can inventory, or no put together a list and bring it, no answer, still wondering. Do I pack the car or not. Why leave a client hanging to the point whereby they lose all confidence and then blame them with a ridiculous assumption. The next day I gave the man an opportunity to apologize and he refused. I am sure he knows how evasive his answers were and I have to ask; did he really expect people to continue to do business without helping them through the process? Perhaps just find another auction site if you need to unload your valuables, save yourself from bogus accusations and a hothead proprietor. As to the value of this place, I wouldn't know, I wasted a whole month preparing for an auction that refused to offer me details of the process of the first meeting.

Antiques, architectural items, motorcycle items, find signs for the tiki bars, vintage clothing and purses, etc. from the TV series Yellowstone signs that will make you laugh. I am not a clock connoisseur but after he shared the stories of craftsmanship and background information I am intrigued to learn more about the craft of vintage clock making.
