With the holidays coming up and company coming into town, we were in dire need of thorough carpet…read morecleaning services. We have several animals in the house and one elderly cat in particular who had made a certain corner of the carpet her preferred bathroom spot. We had tried several methods for removing the smell, from vinegar to baking soda to enzyme cleaners. Nothing was able to truly remove the smell, as is was in the carpet pad below the carpet. We called S&S on the recommendation of a neighbor who had utilized their services for similar reasons. The service provided by Mr. Sherman was top-notch. Not only was he able to come out to service our carpet within 48 hours, but he actually removed the old, soiled carpet pad, cleaned the carpet from the underside-up, and did it all within a span of two hours. The carpet looks like new and the odor is gone! He did all of this for a price that we felt was well below what we were expecting to pay. We cannot recommend this company highly enough and will not be using anyone but S&S for our carpet cleaning needs from this point forward.

Best service I've had since moving to the CSRA. From getting a quote and the walk through to…read morescheduling a day, they were great from start to finish. I had gotten three different estimates from three companies, and honestly their knowledge, friendliness and price won me over. The installers, Lee and Keith came on time, worked steadily, were mindful to shut the door and wipe their feet when coming in and out, and were very respectful. They cleaned up everything after they were done, had me do a walk through to make sure I was satisfied and put the furniture back that they moved. Nothing was damaged or broken, and the dust I was expecting to be bad, wasn't at all. From start to finish it only took 2 1/2 hours for a master bedroom and walk in closet, and guest bedroom and closet. The price was incredible and it was definitely worth paying to have the furniture moved as part of the package. I will be absolutely be looking to them when I change out the flooring-if they are even half as good with it as they were with the carpet, I know I'll be taken care of.

The HVAC company covered the initial repair, and we decided to add two additional rooms at our own expense, paying over $1,000. When the crew arrived, they took unauthorized photos of our home and bedroom and shared them with their team -- a complete invasion of privacy. They then wasted 20 minutes outside, came back, and said the job would take more than one day before leaving without completing anything. When I called for a refund for the additional rooms, I was met with rudeness and unprofessionalism. Becky (Operations Manager) and Amanda (Manager) were some of the nastiest and most unhelpful people I've ever dealt with in customer service. Not only did they refuse to issue my refund, but they also refused to complete the service I had already paid for. This company is untrustworthy, unprofessional, and has no respect for their customers. Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere.

We strongly advise others to avoid hiring this technician…read more Initially, he completed a few small jobs satisfactorily, which led us to trust him with larger projects in Augusta, including siding work and a bathroom flooring job. Unfortunately, the quality of work on these projects was extremely poor. The siding installation was mismatched and unprofessional, and the bathroom flooring was done incorrectly. The workmanship was so unsatisfactory that the tenant became very upset. We also provided funds for materials, which did not result in proper or acceptable work. In addition, there was an incident where he damaged the tenant's mailbox, which we had to repair at our own expense. When we raised concerns about the siding and flooring work, he insisted everything was done properly, despite clear issues. He has now escalated the situation by filing a claim for payment. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend his services. We encourage others to exercise caution before hiring.
