Very personable, welcoming & warm in their demeanor. It's always easy to book appointments with them. We've come into the office before COVID and it was very lively. Perfect for little ones & lots to be entertained by, including a large fish tank in the waiting room. Everything looked clean, organized & new. This last visit was obviously amidst the pandemic & they were very good about booking patients in a way where social distance is no problem & theres minimal exposure to everyone. They did everything possible to make it a pleasant experience for my child. First she explained the pros and cons of different options but gave her expert opinion on the best option for my child. She walked me through the process of multiple cavities under sedation very carefully. Dr. Tercero answered our questions with patience and kindness when we were nervous about the procedure until I was comfortable. She knew my child and what was best for him, given his asthma. I hate to leave bad reviews, but this was the WORST experience I have ever had with a healthcare…read moreprofessional. Jeffrey Van Troba was incredibly disappointing. On my first visit, I was seen for less than five minutes for my eczema, in that time he took one look at me and prescribed me three medications, leaving out side effects, how they work, and what I should expect. As a result, I suffered from photosensitivity from doxycycline and some other strange effects to my skin. If I had know these were common issues, I wouldn't have been so mad! Frustrated by this, I went in to my second appointment with low expectations, and I explained to the nurse- who checked me in- my issues. She told him before I got the chance and Jeffrey Van Troba came into my room and attacked me. He did not let me speak or hear my story. He spoke over me. Saying that he was "sorry if I had something else going on in my head" and "didn't listen when I told you the side effects." He tried to tell me I didn't know what I was talking about, and completely invalidated all of my concerns. I will grant, the supervisor called me after the appointment and apologized sincerely. I was grateful she called me although it wasn't her fault, but I cannot recommend this business or Jeffrey Van Troba. I would rather drive to Seattle (2.5 hrs instead of 30 min) any day.
