Visiting from San Francisco and they refused entry because I had a backpack. I understand and appreciate the policy, but the complete lack of empathy/solutions-oriented discussion means I'll never try to come back. The front door attendant was mind-numbingly caustic. Why not search my bag? Do a coat check? There are solutions available beyond turning a customer away on a dead Thursday night when there's no line and seemingly few club goers inside. read more

First gay bar I've been to in Ybor City and disappointing. Drinks are ok but the go go dancers would rather stand on the box talking to each other and sip their drinks than dance. I was so surprised by what Bradley's had to offer that I was kind of excited when I found out. My friends had told me to meet them here one night and upon walking around in the main area, I was surprised to see it mostly empty. Past the bar section though, headed to the left of the restrooms, I entered upon an entire other room full of music, stages, and an incredible amount of people. The ambiance was amazing. My friends and I had plenty of space to dance and scream excitedly during the drag show. The music was at a perfect loudness and everyone in Bradley's seemed great. Special shout-out to the bartenders: they remembered the drinks for me and my group even after just one order, they prepared everything in a very fashionable time, and they were very kind despite how busy they got at times! Ambiance... fake giant trees and a convenient fake river on the bar to wash away spillage. Full disclosure, I came with my gay friend who was dating one of the bartenders. I've been coming to Bradley's for several years and have always been a good patron. This is the second time I've been there where at 9pm they take the chairs away from the bar and make you move. There was maybe 20 people in the entire bar. It was not like it was crowded and people couldn't get to the bar. Just absurd. Security guard had to come along and enforce this new absurd rule. The last time one of the bartenders said they shouldn't be doing that. This time they absolutely didn't care at all. They clearly don't appreciate paying well tipping clients so they no longer will get my money. Ridiculous. read more

This has to be my favorite local bar for good drinks, great music and memorable nights. The bartenders are amazing, especially Tyelor! But unfortunately I recently had an undesirable experience with one of the bartenders named Nick. During this particular visit, he was unprofessional, rude and unpleasant. Although the matter at hand, which should have not been dealt with so much negativity, was handled and resolved in a professional manner by Tyelor. This experience has placed a hindered on my visits to your establishment as I do not want to experience such behavior again. Probably the worst service by a "Latin" bartender ever! Back by the dancers, someone spilled my drink. I had tipped the bartender good all night, but he never refilled my drink, or offered me another. So for that, I would never come back to your bar, because the management is at fault for not training your staff how to treat customers! read more

Visiting Tampa we decided to walk around Ybor and bar hop. My cousins, boyfriend and I heard the music from Bradleys and decided to walk in. We had blast!! Our bartender Bradford was amazing!! I moved down here in February from Boston and I enjoy going to Bradley's. I've been going mostly every weekend and one thing I've noticed is the DJ and the music is the same every weekend. They play the same exact thing. Whenever I go, I can already tell what song is coming on next. And it doesn't help when My friends and I have a request this DJ gets a little offended and shrugs is off every time . This bar is very nice compared to other clubs I've been to but the music/DJ really has to get a huge upgrade. If you plan on visiting more than once just be prepared to get sick and tired of the music very quickly. read more

Awesome gay bar. My fav in town. Open til 3am 365 days a year. The bartender Josh that always serves me is incredible. Not only is he smoking hot, but he's an amazing guy and great bartender. Can maintain a connection with guests and still take care of 10 people at once. The place has drag shows on weekends and is always just fun to come and dance or chill at the bar. I did venture in on a weekend and the back dance floor was packed, which is a good thing, DJ was spinning the beats and the crowd was young, nice looking and friendly. Loved it! Bisexual woman here. Came with gay and straight friends! Amazing jams playing. Camaraderie and dancing as everyone sings the words together. Good drinks. Reasonable prices. Cute gogo dancers spicing up the atmosphere. Drag show was good, just wish it was longer than 3 songs! Fun crowd. Fast paced. 2 sections, one with gogos and more electronic music. 1 with moreso classic pop music, a pool table, less intense dancing, more bars, and no gogo dancers. Maybe the cheapest drinks in Ybor for example we had 4 Vodka Tonics, 6 Miller Lites and 2 Shock Tops on Saturday and the bill was $30. The Vodka Tonics are strong pours according to my wife or as she likes to say Vodka Ton. Theresa is the bartender we normally have and she is great funny with a sharp tongue if you deserve it. Let me preface this review with a disclaimer. I have only been to Bradley's on Monday nights. They have buy one get one free on Monday nights, all night. Brad, the bartender, is fabulous, as is Theresa, who generally works evenings, not nights. I have heard that on the weekends it gets insane, but Mondays are very chilled out. I'd say of the 6 Mondays I have been there, only once have there been more than 15 people in the bar. The bar used to be called The Jungle, so there are enormous fake trees throughout, a working waterfall in the corner, and a stream that runs the length of the entire bar. The front room, which I just referenced, has private bathrooms to the right and stall bathrooms to the left. Past the stall bathrooms is an enormous dance floor. That part is closed on Mondays, but it would be a great place to dance on the weekends. Also, there is no cover on Monday, and I believe no cover on the weekends before 11. It's a very laid back atmosphere on Monday and you will find both straight and LBGT patrons. It is mostly Ybor hospitality people that I see in there on Monday nights. Either way, you can't beat 2 for 1s, good music videos, and a freindly bar staff on Monday nights. read more

The bar is very unusual because of its decor it has a river running through the bar and also some fake trees not something you see very often. You never know how crowded it will be on a weeknight sometimes it's deserted sometimes it's extremely busy but in the early evening Ray is your bartender and he is very friendly and welcoming. On the weekends that can be extremely busy and sometimes a little difficult to get a drink. I do wish they had more bar stools because sometimes it's difficult to find a place to sit. So I'm here at this dump and I go to the first bartender on the dance floor wearing red shorts and no shirt (big mistake) I was at the bar before my friends but he took their order first and came to me 13 min later when I asked for Apple vodka he told me -" I don't have apple and hurry up I have others waiting" I told him forget it. As I go to the next bartender he whispers in this guys ear and he also leaves me standing for about 10 min as he takes others drink orders who came after me. The only difference is my friends are white and I'm not. But the difference with that is I make money and I tip. They clear prejudged me as I walked up to the bar and that's pretty fucked up. I went here for Tampa Pride and am in no hurry to go back. You are supposed to support our community but suspend your happy hour and price gouge during Pride? Shame on you. I always have a great time at Bradley's, especially when Theresa is bartending. Happy hour is awesome, 2 for 1 until 9 pm. This is a gay bar but we are a straight married couple and my husband is comfortable here so I guess I would say it's "straight friendly". If Theresa is working and you like shots be sure and ask her for her "ta tas". One note, this us a smoking bar and can get a little smoky. On the plus side it's always dark and cold like a cave so it's a great place to beat the heat on a hot Fl afternoon. read more

This was the first bar I went to in Ybor city. I really like it, it has more of a chill vibe in comparison to other establishments in the area. Visiting from out of town and was so shocked to be charged $12.50 for a Maker's on the rocks. Am from NYC and have never paid this much even in Manhattan. Bar tender said it's 11.50 and an extra dollar for ice. For real? $1 for ice? Also, paid $7 up the street for the same drink earlier that night, so it's clearly not a Tampa/Ybor City thing, but one of Bradley's being way overpriced. read more

Reading others' review, you'd think they came to Bradley's and were expecting South Beach. Boooooooooo to them. Bradley's is good at exactly what it does, and nothing else. It's a fun, CASUAL, local "hole-in-the-wall" to chill at. Love Wesley, Bradley the owner, Melvin, Harrison and the smiling bouncer team. Good drink specials and fair pricing. We had a bad experience with Ray, who said he was the day shift manager. He had a come-apart fit when we asked which whiskey was call vs well. "I wouldn't drink the well. It is awful. Listen. I don't have time for this. It is too early to deal with this." I apologized to him for asking too many questions, but he was intentionally aggressive and mean for the rest of my time there. It's Tampa Bay. The gay bars in the area are very decentralized. Even though there's tons of gays, there's bars everywhere, but no central gayborhood. Ybor tries to be THE gayborhood, but if you've traveled anywhere else, Ybor pales in comparison to other gayborhoods. Bradley's tries to be the bar for the gayborhood, and it does well for being here in Tampa, but it leaves me wanting more. Everything and everyone is second rate, but that's Tampa for you. I love this bar! I am a female and I am straight, not that it makes a difference, but my boyfriend and I have been going here for many years. People are friendly, no one is judging anyone. The bartenders are wonderful. However, I was in there two Sundays ago and found out that one of our favorite bartenders (Teresa) had been let go because of a bad Yelp review. I have known Teresa for many years and she has been nothing but caring and professional. I had an issue with my blood sugar dropping and she came to the rescue. So to find out someone said she was rude and "snatched something out of someones hands" I find very hard to believe. It sounds more like someone didn't like being told they could not have outside beverages in the bar and had a temper tantrum..... Just want to say Sundays are not the same without Teresa.... please bring her back, love the music when she is there too. read more

Favorite bar to go too, best drinks in town and for the best price . Alex and Harrison are my go too bartenders and are some of the best in the business . Love going on a Monday or Tuesday to see Darnell bar backing with Alex , they make a great team and make it my favorite night . Only complaint is dj charles. I've seen him in the seen for years and he continues to play the same boring music with no musicality at all, the bar was empty and asked to play a song he normally plays every Thursday when I'm there and was met with a rude attitude and then proceeded to not play the song he always plays , his taste is boring and much prefer the dj on the dance side on weekends ... it's time for someone new read more

I spent a couple of days in Ybor and Bradley's on 7th was my venue if choice. Nice atmosphere, good drinks, and very attentive and accommodating staff. Alex and Derek were behind the bar and from the time I sat down were engaging, friendly, and made me feel like I've been coming here for years. My second day there was even better, and another patron even commented that we seemed to have known each other for a long time. Truly one of the best experiences I've ever had in a bar thanks to Alex and Derek. I will be back for sure. read more

I'm a bartender from San Francisco and I met Teresa so awesome, Polite, friendly and inviting. Then there was this guy with a beard didn't know his prices and overcharged us. He wasn't friendly and was eating at the bar station, chewing while we ordered drinks and just to remind you overcharged us.
