Everything about this facility is great. I've had knee, hand and foot surgeries, by three different…read moreproviders and I am very happy with them all.

This review is for Dr. Logan Cooper and his PA-C assistant. If you're considering hip replacement…read moresurgery by Dr. Cooper, I strongly suggest DON'T DO IT...until you've had a 2nd or even 3rd opinion by specialists who perform the (posterior) surgery. Dr. Cooper specializes in the (anterior) approach, boasting 6-week healing times on average. It has now been a YEAR since my hip replacement. To this day my thigh, from my knee upward to my hip, is numb and the tendon damage by the incision hinders my ability to get dressed or walk short distances or even sleep. I live on painkillers, which offer some relief, but overall I am much worse off than before the surgery and I may never recover. 7 weeks of physical therapy did absolutely nothing to aid with these issues. To literally add insult to injury, I later discovered that Summit was billing my insurance for my follow up visits which were necessitated by the nerve and tendon damage. At first Dr. Cooper and his PA-C assistant, Joel Whiting, boasted about 6-week healing times...then it was "give it a few more months" then during my last follow up 6 months ago I was told "well sometimes it can take a year to heal." I was totally blown-off at that point leaving me with zero suggestions and zero empathy. I am in my 50's, average height, not overweight and have a muscular build. After multiple visits to another orthopedic surgeon outside of Summit, I was informed by that surgeon he does not do the anterior surgeries due to the increased chances of nerve and tendon damage. I highly recommend seeking multiple opinions and acquiring all the facts before making a decision!

I have seen Dr Redd multiple times over 3-4 years for several things (thank you arthritis!),…read moreincluding damage to my knees from a bad fall. I appreciate his thoroughness, his respect and patience. I never feel rushed or as though I'm just patient number. He explains options and procedures, and answers all of my questions. I also appreciate that he recommends natural and non-invasive options. He was a little tough grading my range of motion after rotator cuff repair, but it actually kept me on track doing my home physical therapy exercises. And I now have my full range of motion back! I don't want to ding the practice when most of my experience has been so positive. However, I was referred to Dr Olson recently for an additional opinion re carpal tunnel revision and it was a terrible experience. He was dismissive of my concerns and shot down everything other professionals had concerns about. He even told me how "everyone" sleeps! Wow. His arrogance and lack of concern was staggering.

Dr. Liljenquist is amazing. He explained my X-rays to me after asking me what happened. He checked my range of motion and asked about pain while I moved my arms to various positions. Then he muscle tested me to see what and where the weaknesses were in my muscles. I had both shoulders looked at so I knew if I had future problems to look forward to. After the strength testing on my muscles he suggested we try physical therapy first. Dr. Liljenquist is a surgeon. He could have suggested I have surgery. But he didn't. He took a cautious approach and suggested physical therapy to see if this would help me re-strengthen my muscles. I'm Impressed with his professionalism, his thoroughness, and his desire to see me heal completely. I would highly recommend Dr. Liljenquist.

The local hospital did a temporary cast to allow the swelling to go down and we made an appointment with Dr. Redd. He and the whole staff was excellent. Our daughter needed multiple x-rays and the x-ray tech was gentle and very friendly with our daughter. The nurse was the same. Dr. Redd was very friendly and my daughter, while scared that there would be pain, immediately warmed up to him. He had to put pressure on her arm while setting the cast but each time our daughter was about to cry, he diverted her attention to other topics (birthdays, playing, sports, school, etc.) and before you know it, with hardly a tear, the process was done. I highly recommend him and his staff.
