When we picked her up, I gave her water and she immediately started drinking it desperately. She didn't even greet us. She was more focused on drinking water than on seeing us, which says a lot about how thirsty she was. That behavior is not normal for her. Runa is not a dog that pants excessively unless she has been running a lot or is extremely tired. She almost never pants, not even when she's happy. That's why it really stood out to me that in every photo I received during her stay, she was constantly panting. At first glance, the dogs may appear "happy," but in reality they seem thirsty. She was there for only 5 days and still came back thinner and extremely thirsty. I can't imagine how uncomfortable that must have been for her , or how other dogs may be feeling if they are not being given proper access to water. I'm writing this with sadness, but also with the hope that this feedback leads to better care and attention to the well-being of the animals left at this place.

Unfortunately, I wasn't checking email so I didn't see the notifications that she was updating the app. However, when I got home, I did see photos of my cats looking good with a little report on what happened during the visit. Waggy Tails is not cheap! The stated price is for 2 animals; there is an additional charge for each extra pet. The price is also double if you want 2x per day visits. However, the care was comprehensive - Michelle had no problem pilling my one cat that needs a daily medication and also handled all of the different food requests and feline pickiness with no problem. I would definitely use Waggy Tail again! They definitely remove a piece of travel stress by taking excellent care of your pets!

I did about 4-5 one-on-one private sessions with her and then did several day-training sessions - this is where you drop the dog off in the morning and she works on teaching them commands or works on whatever issues they have (aggression, anxiety, fear, etc) and they also spend some playtime at the dog park. When I would drive up to Rocco's, my dog would get so happy and excited - this is how I know that she was in good hands. Leby would send me a daily report on my dog's progress or if she had any setbacks that day. She would also suggest techniques that I could use at home to help my dog with her anxiety/aggression issues and how to teach her commands.
