WONDERFUL! I was in a last minute jam while traveling on vacation and needed someone to watch my cat Beerus before check in at our hotel and during check out on a separate day. The website was very easy to use and Lori responded quickly. I needed someone who didn't have other pets around as my cat is very needy and afraid of other animals... they were able to accommodate quickly and with Hildaliz who was awesome! She was very kind and updated me on how my cat was during her stay. They also provided litter for her at no extra cost which was extremely helpful. I felt at ease and would highly recommend. Going on vacation without your pet can be a stressful situation. Where are you going to put Fido or Snowball? How do you get them to the boarding place? I had always boarded my cat before when I went on vacation, and while the service I used was always perfect, my pet dosent travel well and being on vacation for 2 weeks or more can get really expensive. I also didnt want to just burden my friends with her care. So, at the referral of another service I found Litter Sitters... ..and I couldnt have made a better choice! They make it easy. Everyone there is very quick and responsive to my enquiry and my questions. Its not easy trusting a service to come to your house every day to take care of what amounts to a member or your family but those fears quickly went away as I set up their service (via app!) and started receiving notifications and pictures each day they took care of my kitty. I knew she was in good hands!!! Their prices are reasonable too. It was MUCH less expensive to board her and I had the peace of mind knowing that she was safe at home and not stressed. Upon my return I found a happy and healthy kitty. So if you need services for your pet as you go on vacation and dont want to deal with the time, expense and stress of boarding for long periods of time... I've been using The Litter Sitter for nearly two years. I travel a lot. The services had been good, but recently, that has changed. I saw Lori posting on Facebook how her business doubled last year. It seems she forgot about her loyal customers who built her business. Two weeks ago, I submitted a request for multiple days of service. I received an email that services were accepted. I didn't open up the email as I have received this email for two years. There was never a problem with scheduling. On the first day of my travels, Lori text to be sure I got her message that she couldn't provide services the first day. Meanwhile, my two dogs are in Miami and I'm in NYC! You'd think she would check before the date services were to begin! Obviously, I'm away at that point. To make matters worse, she REFUSED to even attempt to run over and walk and feed my two dogs. Imagine, dogs you've cared for two years! Even IF there was a communication error, any compassionate person would care that there were two dogs trapped in an apt who had been unfed and not walked for over 12 hours. She didn't even care to make an attempt. Send a friend if you have to. How can you be in the pet business and care so little? I had to have a friend drive over, got an emergency locksmith on a Sunday (who did care) and it cost me $100. Another dog walker stepped up and took care of my dogs. So don't use TLS. Use someone who cares about animals and about the customers that were there before their "business doubled." Btw- I've been an entrepreneur for 33 years and am a business coach. I take reviews seriously because I know the damage they can do. This review is very warranted because no one should ever find themselves in this position. read more
