Both my appointments were scheduled for 11:00am; The first time I waited over an hour an 15 minutes for her and I left. Her employee stated there was an issue with her car, which is understandable things happen. She reached out to me to reschedule, but given my Scheudle It was not possible. Out of good faith I rescheduled as this was a one time event. On the second appointment I waited over 40 minutes for her. This time there was an issue with " her cable". While waiting she calls one of her employees in the salon and inquires what they want to eat being as she's getting food ( mind you I'm waiting ). She has no regard for the time of others or herself. If this is how she runs her business good for her. What I will not accept is getting a message from booksy stating that I was a no show, when I was there and she wasn't. She's overpriced and overrated!! Adjust your time slots for your business if you can't meet the demands of your customers.

I asked the girl what time my stylist was coming (as this was my first time here) and she said she would be here shortly (this is around 11:20ish). 12:10pm comes and I'm still sitting there annoyed so I get up and ask again .. is she coming or not because this is is just ridiculous. She directs me to the chair and begins the process and explains that when the stylist (Bubbles) comes in, she would finish the rest. If it wasn't for this girl being such a sweetheart I would've left the salon a long time ago ANYWHO! I'm under the dryer and it is now maybe 2:00? Someone walks to the back of the salon, picks up my hair dryer, touches my scalp and says 5 more min. Let me remind you I'VE NEVER BEEN HERE ! So I don't know who you are, you don't say hello, you just walk in and touch my scalp? As if I'm not annoyed already . I finally sit in her chair, she asks what style do I want and proceeds to ROUGHLY do my hair. No other words were exchanged, no friendly demeanor, it's almost as if she didn't want me in her chair. Then she had the nerve to suggest that she would stop in the middle of doing my hair to eat. EATTT??? (I think my death glare changed her mind lol) I was so happy when she finished my hair. I was satisfied with the way it looked, I won't discredit her for her skills. She's great at what she does. HOWEVER! The professionalism, I could do without. She definitely needs to work on being there on time and being nicer to her clients. For someone who was excited to do the big chop for their first time, she definitely robbed me of that experience.

I came to this salon a few Saturdays ago to get my hair done by Michell. They had just reopened…read moretheir salon under Phase 3, and trust me when I say they will make sure you're okay. Upon walking in I was given a checklist to ensure that I was COVID free, and ensure that I'd contact my stylist if in the event that I develop any symptoms. Michell took my temperature, ensured I disinfected my sandals and gave me hand sanitizer before walking further into the salon. It was a tad tedious, but I'm very glad they took these necessary precautions. I was glad to see that there was one other person in the salon so it seems as though they stagger their clients. I did a twist out, and felt so taken care of. Michell is very knowledgable and was able to advise me on how to best take care of my hair. I have not been to a hair salon in a very long time, but my experience with Michell has me ready to come back next month. It was such a great experience!
