During a recent trip from SoCal to San Francisco on the I-5, the tire pressure system from our…read morerental alerted us of low pressure. We pulled into the closest gas station to fill the tire with air thinking it was a simple fix. However, when we left the gas station and resumed our trip, the tire pressure monitoring system threw another light and we saw the tire pressure on the dash go from 32 PSI to 26 PSI in a matter seconds. I had my wife look up the closest tire shop, and we found Bruce's Tire. I called them while we were driving there to see if we needed to make an appt. and the guy that picked up the phone told us to just drop by. I forgot the name of the guy that helped me but he was really easy to work with. I told him I called earlier regarding a flat and he immediately had a mechanic take off the tire for inspection. Turns out there was a nail in the sidewall and couldn't be patched. I was under the impression that I was going to pay for the tire replacement. But it turns out, because it was a rental from Enterprise, he was able to get it covered 100%. We were in and out of there no more than 30 minutes. These guys are terrific and I recommend them 100%.

He was supposed to drive there on Saturday and get to So. Cal before dark. However, he left after dark. He passed Los Banos (Route 33 exit) close to midnight and his engine started running really rough and it was losing power. He limped to the next exit, at less than 25 mph, turn around, and come back to Los Banos. We picked him up around 1:30 and got back home at 3AM. At 8AM (Easter morning), we started calling mechanics in Los Banos. Of course, we used Yelp and sorted by ratings. We went down the list and left messages for everyone. We just prayed that someone would be willing to work on a holiday. Jesse was the only one who answered the phone. We explained our predicament. He agreed to help if we could get there by 10. He had a family picnic planned. My son's car was parked about 2 miles from Jesse's shop. We were able to get it running and over to the shop before 10AM. Jesse found the problem, was able to obtain the necessary parts, and had the car fixed in about 3 hours. He charged a very reasonable amount. My son made it to So. Cal before dark (a day late), and Jesse still got to spend the rest of the day with his family. Paid to have gas take changed and light was still on. Was told I needed new coils and fuel injectors along with manifold. Made all suggested repairs and car still had misfires and now manifold error. Took back for another round of repair diagnostic said that had low compression on two cylinders they suggest new engine. So after paying of $6000 on car repairs to be told that I now need a new engine. I was very disappointed in the outcome of waisted time and money. I don't believe German cars are their strength so I would suggest not allowing them to service the car beyond an oil change.

This review is not a reflection of him, just wanted to let Yelp community know what happened in my case. Important to note I've had prior interior detailing done on my car at other places, and it's never looked like this after taking it in anywhere. The last time I had this done it literally was like a new car, even with a new car smell that lasted MONTHS! Interior Detailing: After inspecting the car I thought the seat stains were for the most part out, so I left. I figured it was better than before for the price I paid, which was like less than 50% what you pay in Bay Area (note that I inspected on a hot sunny day, so pretty bright outside). I figured at least someone cleaned it for me and I'd try to take out the stains myself later as I know it can be done. There was no car wash, no car deodorizer, and to be honest I'm not even sure what was used to clean the dashboard because there was no smell of anything. A few days later all the stains came back with a vengeance, and I felt super ripped off as a female as I now have to go spend money again to get it cleaned how it was supposed to. I don't have any pets, or kids, and literally just had some drive-thru food spills. The backseat was also still dirty, and that didn't even have food stains, just dirt/sand. The only thing that got cleaned or seemed much better were the carpet areas. After calling other places and telling them my experience, it seems like it boils down to the equipment being used. In this case it was not the type to do a professional deep steam cleaning, at least not on car upholstery. A coworker had asked me about my car as I was super excited to get it cleaned locally, but I seriously wouldn't take it back nor try again to get it cleaned if offered.
