This is when all the buds are blooming and the garden has its full potential. This is a great place for photos, a chance to look at unique flowers, or even a place just to clear your mind. My favorite part about the gardens is how many butterflies there are here. There are groups of butterflies that flock to the flowers and allow you to admire them (even up close!), which is so cool. Admission to the gardens is free, but there is an indoor exhibit that runs either $3 or $5 dollars. Try stopping by next time you're close!

Wonderful options at reasonable prices. The Wrap It Up holiday event is always a delight. The atmosphere is nice but not stuffy. Ok, I'm biased on the theater part -- I've seen numerous shows, been in some productions, and my kiddo participated in youth theater for years. And, I've NEVER been disappointed. The MAC goes for both "traditional" theater as well as cutting-edge productions. The directors work with local talent to help them grow into the best artists they can be at that moment in time. I'm continually impressed by the high quality of performances. Especially when I remember that the cast and crews are volunteers! I'm saddened to read James M's experience and I hope he talked with the MAC management about what happened. I found from personal experience the staff to be inclusive and respectful, and to be very receptive when there's a problem. My two cents -- great community art center!

Extraordinary!! What…read morea beautiful museum!! We have been wanting to visit the Museum of Art + Light since it opened. We finally made it to Manhattan to enjoy the Picasso interactive exhibit. It was breathtaking. We saw a van Gogh exhibit similar to this one in Las Vegas, but the Picasso presentation was superior. On the second floor, they have some prints and original works from Picasso on display to a company the interactive on the main floor. On the third floor was a wonderful display from various artists which incorporated the patrons looking at the art. Very cool. I almost liked the third floor better than anything. It was magnificent. There's a little art studio up there for people to experiment and play which also has the coolest matchbox collection I've ever seen. This is a true gem. We can't wait to return.

This…read morelittle place has been the settings of many of my nights due to the wide range of plays they have such as a little theater that has children audition from any and every background and have different shows, such as Grease and Hairspray. The Opera house is clean with little to no trash in the seats making it easier to relax and enjoy they show. The inside is smaller than you would imagine, but they make up for it with adding a second row with booth seats. They also did a good job with keeping a wide area in the seats so you don't have an awkward situation on standing up and having a stranger push onto you, because there's enough leg room for you to stand up. The directors make the show fun and interact with the guests, for example tonight they had a give away if they reached 100 likes on Facebook, but even though they did not they still gave the prize away!

When a friend had to cancel plans for Saturday evening, we needed to find something to keep us entertained. After googling "live music" we found "Jazz at the Junction" at the Opera House. We made the drive over to Junction City and are so glad we did. We didn't actually see the theater, as the jazz concert was held in the lobby. The group performing was Wayne Goin and Friends and the music was fantastic. There was a $5 suggested donation at the door, free popcorn, and snacks, beer and wine also available by donation. There was a good sized crowd for a small, community theater in Junction City. There was a tv in the lobby with scrolling announcements of upcoming events and it looks like they have a little of everything...musicals, comedy, dance, and productions for children. If I lived in Junction City I'd definitely take advantage of the events this little opera house is offering.
