All debris was quickly removed and mulched immediately or stored in a vehicle. The Holly and maple trees were trimmed exactly to my specifications. (Understandable to some extent ... but that's a long time...) Then we finally had people come out, we cleared up what needed to be done and then ... well, then it was done .... terribly! --The tree that needed cutting back (vs. removing) looked and still looks like lightning struck it (some branches are higher or longer than others; some branches are left clustered together, other sides of the tree are with more room in between branches; and clearly some branches should have been cut off completely because they were old and had no leaves growing anymore). --The bushes along our driveway were only trimmed on the sides (what about the top? Last I checked, a bush has three sides (unless it's free-growing in the middle of an area) ... top, left and right. Right?). --Other bushes we wanted to have trimmed clearly were never touched but we were told they are all done. -- I found a can and a water bottle (otherwise known as littering) -- and last but not least, the row of bushes along the house were cut so unevenly that one side is now about 5 feet high while the other end is about 7 feet high. Yikes! We called and asked for someone to come out again and after weeks, the owner with his buddy finally came and only said: "if we had to come back to everyone we did a job for, we wouldn't be in business any longer." Well. Sigh, sigh! I say: if you don't do it right the first time, you gotta do it a second time. Sorry. The owner and his buddy said they would come back the following week to finish everything. It is now 3 months later and we are still waiting. Yikes!! Not nice!

We have a tree on our propriety line that the branches where touching our house that we have been TRYING to get taken care of for months. We had 5 - yes I said 5 OTHER tree companies out to give us estimates; another 2 never showed for the estimate. Two of which had true ripping you off prices. We scheduled the work with 3 other companies once in May, July, and September - non of which showed up to do the work. The Estimate. I had stopped the workers coming home from the store and asked if they could give me an estimate. They had me call the office and I talked to Jason who said he would be by in about 45 mins. Shortly after I got off the phone with Jason the workers stopped by to follow up with me on their way to lunch. Jason showed up about 15 mins earlier than he said which is was awesome. Took a look at the work and gave me a great price - Schedule me the same day since they were already int he neighborhood and the crew came back a few hours later. The Crew. These guys were awesome! First, they have some crazy amazing skills at backing the chipper and dump truck into a very tight space. They were quick, thorough, and left the work area cleaner than they found it. What was really awesome is they really made minimal noise for what they were doing as well. I work from home and they really didn't disrupt me at all in the process. Overall. There was very little room for error and the Mitchell Tree & Stump Service, Inc. did a fantastic job. I've used them several times before and they never let me down. Eugenio Cruz and his team showed up at 9 a.m. and were finished by 2 p.m., with an hour lunch break in between. It was completely wrapped in poison ivy vines that were 2" thick. Funny part here is Scott said he had passed by my shop many times and seen the tree with broken branches around it and knew it was a problem before I even called him. It was a battle getting it down but Scotts experienced crew knocked it out. Best tree service I have ever had. Highly recommend them if you need tree work. Price was great as well.
