Exceptionally poor communication, she did everything possible to stall and kill this transaction. From the very first attempt to contact her regarding a piece of property she was taking credit for, to almost the last day, she was inaccessible. The seller only saw her 2 times! Then, she has her 'assistant send an email to OUR lender asking if we could afford the house! We came to the table prequalified! Our lender refused to comment. Horrible experience for someone who claims to have been doing this for 20 yrs. I do not recommend this realtor at all. Stay away if want to be excited about a purchase. Our seller was angry about having to pay her for doing nothing. Oh, and she wouldn't answer her phone on the weekend. What realtor doesn't work Saturdays? Bad experience. Lied to her client about not getting an email concerning some household items we wanted to purchase, and for what? Oh, she wasn't going to make a commission on that sale. I could go on, and on. Just take my advice and find someone who wants to work for you, and not just draw a check.

John provided detailed analysis of what a good sales price would be. Given the comps for the neighborhood, it was also aggressive. After providing an initial walk through with ideas of how to make the house appealing to every potential buyer, John also spent an entire day, and evening, staging the house. Our house is fairly clutter free and well appointed, but John just has a knack for making things look that much better; It was fun to watch him in action. Our house looked so beautiful we almost did not want to sell it! With 2 young boys and very busy lives, we were extremely concerned with keeping the house "showing ready" at all times. Obviously given the preparation that went into the house, John does not believe in a "slap it up and hope it sticks" approach that I had grown accustomed to with other realtors. This became evident when we received an offer for above asking price on the first day, which set a strong comparable standard for the neighborhood. The events between the offer and closing can often be wrought with issues. From the inspection, to the appraisal, and the closing itself, everything was handled very well and went fast and smooth thanks in large part to the diligence of John. He is not afraid to act on your behalf to speed the process up, whether it be speaking to an appraiser or calling a lender. Mandy Moss and her group at Republic Title, the agency John uses, were also very friendly and quick to help with anything we needed. John is truly a consummate professional at all times. During the whole process I never worried about being able to speak to him almost instantly. No email, text, or phone call went unanswered for more than an hour; most of the time it was instantaneous. Any detail needing his attention to keep the process going was immediately dealt with. It always felt like it was his own house he was selling. If you want a Realtor that works hard for you, John is definitely it.

I was right on time and called Stephen to make sure he was on his way. That was when he mentioned that he was running late and most likely not going to be able to make it (something perhaps you should tell a client BEFORE the appointment time?). He passed me off to another representative, but did not tell me her information or how long it would take her to get there. While I appreciated him sending someone in his stead to attempt to not waste my time, but as minutes passed I felt more and more like he did not care whether or not this appointment was kept. I had to call Stephen several times to try and figure out what was truly happening. His associate was on her way from Keller to a home in Irving. I was told it would take 20 minutes, but of course traffic got in the way. So, one hour after my appointment time, someone finally showed up to show me the house. I was definitely NOT impressed with Synergy Realty or Stephen Coleman. His lack of professionalism and supposed inability to keep an appointment will most likely lose potential clients (and money) at some point. DON'T BOTHER!
