After submitting my documents, I called to follow up, only to be told that they had no record of my application and that I had never submitted anything. I then spoke with a supervisor because I was trying to understand what happened. Instead of helping me resolve the issue or looking into what happened with my submission, I felt like I was being blamed for something that was completely outside of my control. I repeatedly explained that I had submitted the application and was previously told that it had been received, but I did not feel listened to or taken seriously. If an application is not received, customers should be clearly informed and given a way to verify their submission. Telling someone they will be helped, having them submit everything, and then later saying nothing was ever submitted is extremely frustrating especially when the customer is depending on the service. I am very disappointed with how this situation was handled, particularly the way my concern was handled by the supervisor. I expected professionalism, communication, and an actual effort to resolve the problem.

Challenging not because it is impossible, but challenging because Kathy Adams (the Administrator) makes the transcript retrieval process very difficult. If you call as a previous or current student looking to retrieve a transcript, she is very rude, uncooperative, and unhelpful for whatever reason. Students from all educational programs should be able to have access to their transcripts with ease so it should not be such an unpleasant process that Kathy creates. Nevertheless, ROP is a great program for students and I am not sure if they still have the Celebration of Success ceremonies, but if they do they are fantastic and well-deserving for the dedicated students in the program.

In a world full of digital distraction, the Kumon at Fullerton provided an environment that foster learning and exceptional focus in each & every session. This is an excellent environment of learning. We have been in the program for about 6 months now, my wife and I are happy with the progress. We plan to continue Kumon for a long time. They follow their own material, and I'm not sure how that would be helpful if you are trying to have your child perform better in math at school, since it does not line up with school math. Another problem I had was that several times she was being taught by High School students. If I am paying $300+ a month, I expect at least college students or adults to teach my child. I feel it was a waste of time and money. My child, once in 5 months, had problems with some school math and asked her instructor to help. Many day cares just seemed like drop off places with not much structured activities while preschools really emphasized their curriculum. We chose to take the preschool route. We also wanted our son to learn a new language and French was a great choice based on his heritage and we love the French culture. We visited the school back in February and Tiphaine and the rest of the staff was fantastic. We had a lot of questions and they really spent the time to walk us through everything. We got a really nice preview of the schools's warm culture. Our son has now been in preschool for the past month and it's been amazing to see him grow, learn French, make new friends, and we can see he is happy and excited to go everyday. PROS: - small teacher to students ratio - friendly community - engaged PA with bunch of events (some virtuals for busy parents and some F2F in the evenings) - caring staff with a new head (Frederique) - designed curriculum - after school activities (sports, yoga, spanish) - early and late drop off / day care options CONS: - tuition is on the high side (monthly installments as an option).
