Back when I went there it was still a school for all age groups. It has been several years since I was last there, but I worked first hand at the renovation of the school to make it more suitable for kids. Everything at the school was renovated in order for it to be suitable for kids, from toilets, to stairs, chairs, and table. When I was helping with the renovation of the school, I met many of the teachers that were going to work there, and those who I met seemed to be well educated teachers, that would take good care of any students going to the school.

Despite being large it has quite a bit of character and is a much more pleasant walking route from the Ravenscourt Park station to my house than trotting up Conningham Road or whatever other awful roads. This is an incredible park…read more Friends and family who visit from outside London are amazed by it. It's like one of those parks you see in old children's picture books. Not just a big expanse of green - though it has that, too - there are lots of winding pathways and a small lake with an island, ducks, swans and geese ...and three separate kids play areas, all with different activities including a zip wire, tyre swings and great climbing frames. There's a huge Paddling Pool and a sandpit. There are dog-free, dog-specific and general areas. Basketball court, football pitch, tennis courts, even a beautifully kept bowling green. And - my favourite - a walled scented garden with shaded benches. This park has everything. Not forgetting the great café, recently taken over by Fait Maison, which does drinks and food, with lots of outdoor and indoor seating and yet another play area. And if the yummy mummyness of that cafe is too much for you, the Ginko garden centre at the south end of the park (yes, it has a garden centre, too) also has a great cafe. And it's right next to Ravenscourt Park tube.

at first glance francis holland appears to be a holding pen for ridiculously wealthy and perenially…read morestupid future"it" girls, but just a quick look around the school itself proves the latter to be entierly incorrect. the school is made up of london's elite and therefore is very small with only about 370 students in all, this means that francis holland is home to an extremely warm school community, where everyone from all ages seems to know each other on a personal level, the school has exceptionally skilled and supportive teaching staff and contrary to popular belief FHS appears to have no "cliques" the schools intensive interviews ensure that no undesirable characters are admitted to the school and as a result all year groups are made up of friendly girls who are all very closely bonded. the school uniform of francis holland is unlike the unflattering and uncomfortable ones of our youth, but instead look incredibly fashionable on the girls and has been praised in the Tatler schools edition multiple times. the students gained their infamous reputation for promiscuity from their tiny school skirts, high heels and the crowds of teenage boys swarming around the school at all times. the school also is home to yet another infamous phenomenon; the complete lack of unattractive students attending the school has been noticed by almost the whole populatioin of london, i am yet to find the cause for this! all in all it is a fantastic school and an excellent environment for learning and socialising
