I went to a chiropractor for the first time and was apprehensive and a bit skeptical. I had lower back issues and radiating pain and numbness down my legs that was getting worse over time. My first interaction was with Henry. He was so nice and professional! He walked me through the clinic and explained the different processes and procedures. He also did an x-ray which I appreciated. I called and was not given any information on pricing and told that would be discussed upon arrival. So I scheduled an appointment. Once I arrived,I was given a lengthy form to fill out, then waited for 20 minutes, hearded thru the facility for a tour then sent into a room to watch a video from the 90s. A representative then informed me that I must get x-rays before doing an adjustment and my insurance wouldn't cover the expense. I left without an adjustment and a loss of over an hour of my time. The Staff was very nice but I would not recommend scheduling an appointment unless you know upfront what to expect. read more

Thanks to the fine doctors and ladies at this location I am an army veterans with a bad back I usually have chronic pain in my lower back and I been coming here for about 12 visits now, and well I been feeling a lot better and been able to walk and keep my weight a little more under control than I usually can as well as sleeping a lot better, I do not like to take much medicine as it has had negative effects but since coming here I am feeling better I also don't have as much excruciating pain as I had when I first started coming. My husband and I have been going to Brandi Chiropractic clinic for the last 5 yrs. with excellent treatment. They have X-rays, exercise equipment, treatment tables and a really knowledgeable staff. I was having headaches behind my eyes and Dr. Brando treated it and showed me where the nerve was that caused it. I have hyenal hernia and he showed me how to relieve my pain. Most of all I was unable to raise my arm because of a fall down my Bus steps and he took care of it with therapy and now I have full range of motion. I highly recommend this clinic. I highly recommend Dr. Brando and his team. I am a runner, golfer, and I enjoy physical activity. Also, I worked in the medical industry for many years, specifically developing spine surgery instrumentation, so I worked closely with orthopedic surgeons and had the chance to observe many surgeries with top doctors. In 2010, I developed localized back pain and pain going down my right leg (sciatica). I tried reducing the pain through yoga, stretching, acupuncture, and massage therapy but the pain persisted. I finally approached Dr. Brando after receiving a personal recommendation. He began my treatment with exercises, decompression, and electric stimulation therapy. Many of the symptoms improved, however they did not go away immediately. After a couple of weeks of conservative therapy, Dr. Brando ordered an MRI. This confirmed his suspicion that I have a herniated disk. Specifically, I have a 9mm hernia in the L4-L5 disk, and a bulge in L3-L4. Dr. Brando was very helpful in directing me to some qualified doctors so I could discuss a surgical option. I saw three different doctors, some wanted to operate immediately, others suggested that I wait. After much consideration, I opted to delay the surgery, pending further conservative efforts. I continued to see Dr. Brando, and followed his recommendations, including exercise, therapy, decompression, weight loss, etc. His holistic approach solved my chronic back pain, and his exercises have improved my overall wellbeing. As I mentioned, I am also a runner. After much preparation for a half-marathon I developed acute knee pain. I was concerned I had permanently damaged my knees, however, during my next scheduled visit for my back pain, Dr. Brando looked at my knee and found that it was common "runner's knee," which is often misdiagnosed as meniscus damage, and which usually sidelines runners for months. He worked on my knees for 8 sessions, to be more exact, he worked on my IT Band, which causes the knee pain associated with "runner's knee." It has now been over a year, I completed that half marathon and then a full marathon, and my knees feel great, as well as my back! I highly recommend Dr. Brando for any type of pain, chronic or acute, including muscle tightness, joints, neck, and back pain. He is my first stop when I feel that something is "not right." And after following his process, if your problem can't be solved by a chiropractor or physical therapist, he will professionally point you in the right direction. I have been meaning to write this review for quite some time as I have been pain-free and able to run for over two years now (even though I have not seen Dr. Brando in nearly a year!). After experiencing numbness all throughout my right arm for a few days I decided to pay Dr. Brando a visit to see if he could help me. He was able to diagnose my problem very quickly and said that the root cause was in my neck and that all I had to do was go through a few neck decompression sessions for the next few weeks and the numbness would go away. Sure enough, my numbness went completely away by the second session! Now I just go in for maintenance once in a while to make sure everything is fine with my neck and arm. I'm sure another doctor would have recommended surgery or given me pills to get rid of the numbness but I'm glad I didn't go that route! Another issue that I had been dealing with for years was a sharp pain on the side of my right knee that prevented me from running long distance for years. I went to my family doctor and he prescribed me anti-inflammatory drugs, which didn't help. So I spoke to Dr. Brando about this issue and he immediately knew from experience that the problem was coming from my IT band on the side of my thigh. He said he could remove the pain with just a few therapy sessions with him and sure enough he did! Now I'm able to run long distance again thanks to Dr. Brando. read more

Go to Dr. Brando and you won't be disappointed. I am an fulltime office lady and a new Mon who is sitting a long time and do a lot of lifting and holding my baby. I had severe back pain. Before visit Dr. Brando I went to another MD but switch to Dr. Brando and found that Dr. Brando is the one who really helps you back to normal. He let me do X-Ray see what happened and expalined why I was feeling pain. He has a plan and treat you step by step. I feel much better in only 3 visits. "Dr. Brando is awesome!" I've been very happy with Dr. Brando and his office since we started going there about two years ago with pain in my knee and my husband's both knees. We were training for the marathon and both had to stop when a friend recommended us to go there, and I'm happy to say they fixed our problem so we could finish. Since then, my husband hurt his shoulder twice and Dr. B got him back near 100%, even though our other doctor told him it would need surgery. They also have braces, casting and cheap x-rays to check for fractures on our three kids who always smash a finger or twist an ankle, and we get in and out of there fast without having to pay E.R. costs or wait for an appointment (days later) with whichever ortho the E.R. would then send us to before. And I didn't know it, but chiropractors actually have more training in radiology, reading x-rays than general M.D.'s. So, I've been very happy with Dr. Brando and his staff with everything we've gone there for so far. read more

After years of living in pain, Dr. Brando and his crew have helped me realize, pain is not normal, and there is something that can be done about it! After ever adjustment I feel great. There are a few days of soreness as the body tries to fight the adjustment, but my overall pain levels are so much better. I have been in school 6 years getting two bachelor's degrees and my head constantly hangs forward. As I am sure many can relate, reading and the computer have done some bad things to my neck and shoulders. Massage theraptists have always told me I have way too many knots for such a young person; not anymore! Brando clinic taught me to work on my posture, exercises, heat and vibration therapies, decompression and of course the adjustments have done wonders. The pain in my neck is now only because it is "healing pain" as my body is adjusting to the correct position. However, my neck pain is soo much better. No more knots! I get mild tension in my shoulders still because I still study all the time, but Brando adjusts me and it feels much better. They also work with me on a subluxation in my lower back that causes constant pressure. I have felt it so long I never knew it was abnormal. It was painful to stand or sit or lay down, for more than 20 minutes, I had to constantly shift positions and take over the counter pain killers every day. This too has improved so much I am now up to about 6 hours of standing before it hurts. He once described the work of a Chriopracter like that of a jack. You pump a tiny bit, up and up and up, until you see results. He probably explained that better! But my point is, if you keep going, work the process, get involved by working on your own health and fitness, and go to Brando, chriropractic is life-changing! I used to be unable to even sleep in a comfortable position and suffered from daily headaches, both much improved as well. This process takes longer than a quick fix such as surgery, but it is a healing process. I personally would much rather do this all natural, healing, strengthening, healthy practice than be cut open, essentialy traumatizing and injuring my body only to endure months of worse pain and possibly never recover. Think about how many people you know who tried to quick fix of back surgery? How is that working out for them now? Everyone I know who tried that still has horrible back pain. Not only is my whole body healing because of this, I have more energy, my insomnia that I have suffered from since age 12 is GONE, and my anxiety is under much better control. This is not just Brando but the way of life he preaches (and practices!) to have total body health. I take better care of myself as a whole with his encouragement and guidance, and with my therapies and adjustments I feel like a different person. I can't believe I ever lived with pain and thought it was acceptable. Even if you don't suspect anything is wrong, which I didn't because I was in denial, go have him check you out. This review is long overdue. I have been going to Brando Chiropractic for nearly 5 years. The staff is always professional, the facility is up to date and clean, and Dr. Brando is fantastic! I am very active (distance running ) and I spend a lot of time working on the computer. He has helped relieve discomfort including muscle tightness and alignment issues when I have been at my most active, during marathon training, as well as when I have been less active. Dr. Brando is very good at what he does and addresses the problem you present at the time, he doesn't just give you the same treatment or adjustment every visit. He also regularly follows up to see how you are doing via phone. I would recommend him to anyone and have taken my family members to see him for both emergency care as well as routine visits. He is always accommodating when it comes to scheduling and routinely takes walk-ins as well. I used to see him at the Memorial location which is very close to where I live but followed him to the North Main office because it is worth the drive. read more
