OUTSTANDING in all aspects. Brandon Electric was able to schedule a service technician for the day we were available, two other companies I called could not. We got a call 45 minutes before the scheduled arrival time from Jeff R. saying he was ahead of schedule and could he come early. Well, of course, that was great. We were getting the house ready to sell and wanted the electrical system to be fully functional. We had a breaker that would trip at random times so he started with this. He went to work and found a connection at the junction box outside that was impacting the circuit the breaker was on. He fixed that problem. In the process he repaired a wall switch that had never worked. Checked all the outlets, found one GFI that was bad, replaced it and all was good. He even traced an outlet in the kitchen that we discovered had never been wired. We decided to blank it off because the repair would have meant cutting the slab. This whole time Jeff was pleasant, very efficient and never tried to talk us into something we did not want. The final invoice was exactly as stated when he arrived and the office even gave us a break and reduced the bill $50 since we had to purchase a new GFI. Jeff R was awesome. On time, very clean, pleasant, professional, knowledgeable (explained code to us) and did excellent work. If, rather when, we need an electrician we will definitely call Brandon Electric and ask for Jeff R. We have already referred him to two other members of our family. read more

A 4-point home inspection for my insurance company, identified an old unsafe circuit breaker panel in my 40-year old home. From the time I called Kaylee and Kelly I received 5-star care. Carlos arrived on-time to inspect and estimate necessary corrections. By the time he left I knew Brandon Electric would be the company I would choose to do the work. Kelly arranged the permits and parts. Electricians Kiev and Danny arrived early on a hot 'n muggy July day. Danny did the attic part of dragging heavy wires from the garage across the length of the house and installing an exterior emergency cut-off switch next to the power company meter. Kiev removed the old breaker panel and installed a new panel. Kiev was non-stop all day. Carlos joined the team to test and label each breaker. By the end of a long day the job was complete. The county inspector said the guys did a very professional job. We are pleased and will refer friends and neighbors to Brandon Electric. read more

** WARNING ** A service call from them could cost you thousands more than you thought. I had a lighting stike at my house. They came out and serviced the house, but their management refused to help me with an Insurance Claim for damages, so they are costing me a ton more money. Told me, they can't say it was absolutely lightning because they weren't there when it happened. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ELECTRICAL DAMAGE OR LIGHTNING CLAIMS. Edit: The owner of the company just sent this to me because he was angry at this negative review, very vengeful: "Jay I am the owner that talked to you...Ever heard of karma? Thats probably why these things happen to you because you are mean...I hope karma catches up to you again." And yes, he also alleged I was committing fraud, now in a public place (libel?)...which it absolutely is not. read more

Very professional, courteous, and on time. Long story short my home insurance company required an inspection. The inspector was horrible but that is not Brandon Electrics problem. The inspector told my insurance I need work done. I called Brandon Electric and they came right out. Daniel, the electrician they sent, looked at the paperwork from the insurance company. He then looked at the "issue" and told me I am up to code and have no "issue". He took a picture and wrote a work order of his findings. I did have to pay for his time but rightfully so. They could have very easily taken me for a ride but they did the right thing! Now the battle begins with my insurance and their inspector. I have used Brandon Electric for numerous electrical jobs over the years and have always found them to be friendly, professional and punctual. Today, August 14, 2020, Troy Meeks, and his associate, got here on time and completed the job with the care and diligence I have come to expect from Brandon Electric. Troy did a beautiful job adding an outlet behind the kitchen stove, and even though it will be hidden by the stove, his attention to detail left a perfect job, that was neat and did not require any paint or drywall touchups. These Electrician were amazing, I had another establishment come out that told me I had a faulty box. That technician gave me an estimate of $3000. I wanted to get another estimate and I am so glad because Brandon Electric was here in my house within 10min with just looking at my box he said it was "beautiful" and didn't need to be taken out. They established that is was a TECO problem. And guess what they were right on!!! They saved me thousands ! I felt like, the other establishment was taking advantage of me because I am a woman. Service was excellent from start (scheduling) to finish. I had made an online appointment while they were closed but still received a call back to make sure this was not an emergency. I spoke to Kayelee early on Monday and at first was going to have to wait until Thursday but after telling her more about the issue she was able to schedule me for the same day between 12-4. Casey called prior to 12, arrived by 1 and fixed my problem right away. He was courteous and professional, very knowledgeable. Casey & Alex hooked up my generator and it was apparent that they knew every step and did so very efficiently and quickly. My hookup was not typical and required some different settings to put it the way I wanted and they performed flawlessly. Very impressive, The electrician came to properly ground home and noticed hazardous wire exposure/broken conduits. He thoroughly explained the problem. Kelly and Kayleen coordinated with TECO to have repair as efficiently as possible. In the end, no-out-of-pocket expense to me as TECO took responsibility for the repair. My project would have taken 2 days.Unfortunately, I could not use them because they were booked straight for 10 days, however they had great prices and did not try to give me the female prices.
