I called Whitney back and she asked for my information and she called Duke Energy herself. Whitney called me back 40 minutes later and said someone from Duke would be out later that day to check my meter, which happened and it was found to be the ground causing the problem. I was able to get an appointment within two days. The Service tech Dale came out and identified the problem right away and was able to fix it quickly. He tightened up a wire in my breaker box and replaced two outlets. I was very pleased. I would highly recommend them. It was $150 for the service call and three dollars for the parts. Which I think the $150 is pretty standard in the industry unless you have a Duke energy program which I do not.
