Brandon and his team turned our 1970s bathroom into a dreamy, calming and modern space! They stayed on budget and kept to the timeframes even with us adding to the scope of work (added bedroom walls and ceiling retextured, painted, and LED ceiling lighting). We had a leak in the guest bathroom on the second floor that damaged the ceiling below. After numerous times trying to patch the leak, we realised we needed a dreaded remodel of the bathroom and repair/upgrade of the ceiling below. I have no love for home decor and this was looking like it would be a nightmarish project. However, Brandon made the experience so positive and I'm so glad we chose to work with him. We spoke to several contractors, including Brandon. All of them came highly recommended. However, Brandon was recommended by a personal friend and he was to the point and provided a quote that was comprehensive, was lower than the rest and with a much better timeline. It was great working with Brandon. I have not had to do any remodeling previously and I was concerned that I would not have any reasonable style input. However, Brandon was great with walking us through the process, giving examples of what others did before and providing his input on options. He also told us when he would need specific decisions to be made/items ordered. This approached allowed us to pick out our tiles and paint and other accessories very quickly and in the right order. Communication was great. Brandon is really responsive and would address my texts very quickly. Brandon was also very understanding when we were indecisive or had to made changes to plans. I have used Brandon for multiple projects over the past 5 years. He's done outside improvements (new siding, balcony refurbishing, patio work) as well as interior work (bathrooms, lighting, some kitchen improvements, windows). Sometimes I don't know exactly how I want to execute a project and Brandon will talk me through the possibilities and point me to vendors that he trusts (counter tops, cabinets, windows). One of my favorite projects was refurbishing an attached shed into a cute work space that is very functional. Brandon is great about staying on budget and helping me select materials that are worth the extra splurge and advising where to economize. The work has been top notch and I love the way my house looks. As a bonus, I have never felt uncomfortable with the crew working in my house. I hired Brandon and we agreed upon a 3 bathroom renovation and balcony/nook repair which had water damage. What was supposed to be a 1 month job ended up being a 2 month incomplete job. 3 bathrooms were finished but last minute he bailed on the balcony/nook repair. If you hire Brandon, expect to be the "Quality Control" person of the project because if you're lucky, you'll get a morning walk through with Brandon of the previous day's progress. Also, make sure you know EXACTLY what you want, because if it's not in the initial estimate, you'll either never see it happen or you're going to have to keep reminding him of the additions/changes. If time is not an issue for your project, hire him because his guys do good work and just make sure everything you want is listed in your initial estimate. We originally had it renovated about 5 years ago when we moved in and the previous contractor did a poor job resulting in leaks in the shower. When we look to hire any contractor, we want someone who is 1) Honest 2) Has Integrity in their work 3) Priced reasonably and 4) Can complete the job in a reasonable amount of time. Updated Review: If you have not read my original review, please do as this is an update rather than adding a secondary review. My 5 Star review of Brandon Fisher Construction does not change based on this update. But simply adds to it. After Brandon completed the removal of the French doors in my dining room and installed the new picture window, I had asked him about replacing more windows to match the new one he installed. Without hesitation, Brandon went to his truck to put together a pricing estimate. He came back and provided me with the cost for five additional window replacements at a very reasonable cost. Without hesitation, I agreed and we moved forward. Brandon came inside to measure the existing window sizes and provided me different options from how the existing windows were setup. We agreed on the layout (where the openings were and should be) and he ordered them with an estimated install date of approx 3-4 weeks depending on fabrication time. Last week (5/1/19) Brandon came with his employee to install the new windows. He was on time and they immediately got to work. I was amazed at how quickly the old windows were taken out and how quickly the new ones went in. I had to pull myself away from the area that they were working because I was very interested in the process and I found that I was interrupting their work process. As expected (from the original job) the work area was clean, and as each window was installed, Brandon and his employee were very diligent in competing each task to make each window complete. I honestly cannot give a higher rating than 5 stars for his work. I am truly happy with everything that Brandon has done. I have several more projects that I want to do (including kitchen and bathroom remodels) and Brandon Fisher Construction is and will be my go-to contractor. My experience with Brandon Fisher Construction was 5 stars across the board. I purchased my house in 2016 and one of the features of the house that I've hated since day one was that there were French doors in the front of the house, 10 feet from the front door leading out of the dining room to the front porch. This year I finally was ready to have them removed and replaced with a picture window. I contacted three contractors and Fisher Construction was the final one. Brandon arrived on time and was very thorough in his quoting process. He asked me questions and provided me options that the other two contractors didn't. He educated me in the process of what could be done and how it would be completed. He even provided me options of what I could do myself to help keep the costs down. Brandon's pricing was extremely reasonable and I felt comfortable with him and his knowledge to complete this job properly. Flash forward about a month (when I was ready to move forward) and Brandon had schedules two days to start and complete the job. He and his crew arrived on time with the required materials to start the job. I was shocked that within two hours, the French doors were gone, the frame and the window were in with insulation and they were already putting the initial two scratch coats of plaster on while one of the workers was installing the drywall inside. By the end of day one, the inside was completed including texture, the outside had only one thing left which was the texture. That was completed within an hour on day two. I could not believe how quick it was done. On top of everything, Brandon and his crew kept everything spotless. Their setup included covering everything inside of the house and creating a barrier of plastic to keep any dust or debris from getting into other parts of the house. Because of this experience with Brandon and his company, I have already hired him for the next project which is to replace the rest of the windows to match the new one that he installed. Brandon will for sure be my go to contractor moving forward as I have a lot of projects on the list that need to be completed. It's very difficult to find a contractor who provides good service and does amazing work, so when you find one, keep their number. He knows what looks good and what's trending (if you're looking to improve your short term sale value). - Brandon has a small business and a few select employees he calls upon. If you've never hired contractors before, it's hard to put a value on having the same guys come every day. I've had both, and it's more comforting having the same workers throughout the job. They become invested in the job and probably feel more accountable. - Brandon will inform you in advance of decisions that could potentially cause problems. This foresight comes from his experience and could save you money in the long run. Cons: - You may have to wait longer than other companies to get your job started. Brandon just finished remodeling my guest bathroom and I couldn't be more in love with it! I bought my older home about 10 months ago and the guest bath had a fiber glass (looked like plastic) tub, chipping paint, and a vanity that was falling apart. Brandon fully remodeled it, putting in a new deeper tub, tiling up to the ceiling, installing a new vanity, painting, tiling the floor, and replacing the ventilation, toilet, lighting and accessories. I booked him a couple months in advance and his crew started and finished right on time and right on budget (and we all know that's very rare in construction)! He and his crew were always polite, accommodating, and clean. Brandon comes to the house, listens to what you want, adds suggestions you may not have thought about and you agree on a plan, a price and a time frame. 2. You choose the tile (or whatever) and provide him with pictures of the product. He buys it. You relax at home. 3. Brandon sends 'his guys' over to rip out the old, and put in the new. He comes with them, you all review the project, and the work gets started. He may, or may not, stay for the work. His guys are pleasant and friendly (David is pretty quiet). They work and don't dilly-dally. You can call or text Brandon, at any time with questions, comments, etc. 4. At the end of each day you send pictures to Brandon, so he can see the progress on the job. 5. He will stop by most days to oversee the job and see if you are happy with the work. 6. During the job, you may want to make some changes to what you had originally planned. You call/text Brandon, he gets back to you and he adjusts the job. 7. The job gets done. You and you wife smile and cheer and you pay Brandon the final installment. The point is, Brandon runs a small outfit and you get personalized service. "His Guys" do good work and you'll like what you see in the end. His prices are reasonable and you "pay as you go" for the work. It's simple, clean, neat, customized and gets done on time. He came out and looked at the projects, measured and said he would email me his estimate. I got his estimate very quickly. I had one other estimate before his done. I had been planning for my bathrooms for more than a year. I really liked the way he was very personal about his work, his crew were all local and I hired him. He estimated the whole project would be done in three weeks. I wanted the hall bath done first so we could still use the master and vice versa.
