Since Fine Art Bartending offers free retakes for graduates (for life), I was able to sign up again and brush up on my skills! I would like to pass on my glowing feedback about Mr. Grant because he's such a great teacher. He told us about real-life stories, shared tips, and got us to practice cool tricks from his experience in the industry. Yes, the theory and information in the textbook are extremely helpful and good to know, but the things that we learned directly from Grant that you don't find in the textbook are also extremely valuable. The course is different from when I last took it. It was simplified, and we got to practice 18 cocktails which were the most popular and common ones you will most likely need to make if you land a job as a bartender. My favorite part of the course is when we did a mock shift where we practiced what it would actually feel like taking orders, printing tickets, and making the cocktails while talking to the customers (our peers). I just submitted my resume and cover letter for feedback, which is so amazing that this is offered now to support us on our job search journey. Thanks, Fine Art Bartending, for all that you do!

But I found her some Ramin to be arrogant and quite frankly a bit of a bully. He's young though, so has time to learn how to deal with people. Perhaps he doesn't "like" "older white ladies". I don't know. But he needs to develop better social skills in order to deal with all types of people. All types of people need to drive.

I'm currently doing an in-person Digital Marketing course from there. Their centre also hosts weekly conferences and panels for various different topics from marketing, fiance, realstate, and more. The building has a conference room, classrooms, and a little study room for students. Their classes are desgined for professionals in the field who are looking to enhance their knowledge outside of work so all their classes are after working hours. To say that my experience driving with Donald was not satisfactory would be an understatement. He…read moreconstantly wastes time asking useless questions and asking me what I think I should be doing instead of giving straightforward and clear instructions. Whenever I was uncertain about the answers to the questions, he responded with a tone of condescension instead of offering supportive clarifications. I tried my best to develop a good rapport with him, but unfortunately every interaction thus far with him has felt like walking on eggshells as he switches to being unkind and even sarcastic out of the blue. Driving with him was an absolute chore, because it was impossible not to practically always be in a negative emotional state due to his frequent backhanded comments and demeaning tone of voice. It was a struggle to focus on my driving since I was often upset as a result of our unpleasant interactions. I will not deny that Donald has a good understanding of driving. However, his interpersonal and communication skills are subpar, to say the least. Having the knowledge and skills is one thing, but being able to communicate them in a polite and effective manner are another. This is a warning to anyone considering SenSen driving school. Do yourself a huge favour, and save your time and money. Look elsewhere for driving lessons.

I had taken my ICBC Road Test once, but I failed and for many years since then, I have been in the perpetual cycle of re-acquiring my Class 7 Learner's Permit. I never really recovered from flunking my road test, but Alex assured me that we could make it happen. RESULT: I passed! He somehow managed to provide me with the confidence and competence to pass and get my "N" (Class 7) He is a miracle worker. I cannot thank him enough, he is an amazing teacher and if you are a committed student, he will get you where you need to go. Happy driving and thank you, Alex -- you are the best!

Pacific Coastal College of Massage Therapy (PCCMT) offers $10.00 student massages. The clinic is…read moreconveniently located a few steps away from the Yaletown-Roundhouse skytrain station. Been for half a dozen student massages (a mix of 1st and 2nd year students). They were offering free massages back in March, currently it's $10.00. The clinic is only open on weekdays (Monday & Friday mornings, Tuesday & Wednesday evenings). Massages have been a mixed bag of good to mediocre. Couple tidbits worth noting: - 75 minute booking (15 minute assessment + 60 minute massage). I have been to other student massage places (cough cough WCCMT in New West) where you don't receive the full 60 minutes - If you have an evening appointment, use the buzzer (#430) to be let in. The doors lock at 6pm - Easy online booking (Janeapp) - The only way to distinguish between 1st and 2nd year students on the Janeapp is to "view availability by month" and then click into each person individually. Wish this information was visible through the normal booking layout Will keep on coming back to PCCMT if they keep the same prices.

But this year I decided that I would overcome this fear and that's when I met Diogo!! He is very patient and made me feel comfortable and safe since my first lesson. It is very easy to understand the instructions and when I don't get something, he demonstrates even if it is a simple movement. In classes we always train different movements so it is not monotonous or tiring. By the second lesson I could already float and move in the pool.
