I really enjoyed BRASH coffee. I frequent the Interlock area, and I've always seen this location but never gave it a try. Today, I decided to stop by since there wasn't a Starbucks around and had some time to spare before church. The location itself is pretty cool, as it's known as "The Box." Take that literally, it's a quaint shipping container box right next to Shake Shack. It was very tight and packed when I walked in, so I waited outside until it cleared out. Once it was my time to order, I decided on a brown sugar cinnamon oatmilk latte, which came to around $6.50. I didn't have to wait too long for a Sunday morning and they even had a pickup window outside if you have your dog with you. The latte was too good to even get a picture! Dear God. I had to come back and edit this bc I was too irritated to thumb it all out better. I came in Sunday 1/19. A Reddit user had this listed as a good place for beans and I was excited bc it is literally right by my apartment. Two girls were working, one was nice, being helpful, and the other was extremely rude, when asking about their selection, the rude one was commenting super short/annoyed "I don't know, I don't know anything right now". The nice girl was giving me actual info, points to her. Ignoring whatever rude girl was doing, I had selected my bag to buy but - I noticed the top shelf had coffee in a different bag than the lower shelves so I reached up to grab one so I could read it and the rude one literally spoke to me like am a child "Please don't touch those!" and I don't mean in a polite way - a VERY condescending way, as if my hands were about to make them dirty or something, that was enough for me so I just put the bag I was gonna buy back on the shelf and called her out for being super rude and left. Used to be my favorite coffee spot. the worst customer service I've ever experienced. this coming from someone 15 years deep in the service industed and a 5 year career in coffee specifically. today I ordered a latte with very light lavender syrup. the drink came out beautiful but way too sweet. I apologized for asking the red headed barista girl to remake it less sweet. I'm such a small coffee shop you can witness a lot. I witnessed her use her bare hand to squash down the filthy trash bin, the go back to remaking my drink. she handed it back and said "have a nice day" with a lot of agitation. When I went to sip the coffee it was clearly a burnt shot of espresso. No lavender at all. a clear "F YOU" from the barista. Not only was extra paid for the lavender syrup but I always tip 20% (again, service industry all my life and I totally respect and honor the hard work). This is NOT hard work. With Revelator Coffee Company across the street and Chattahoochee Coffee Company just around the corner off Huff Road, there's no shortage of high quality coffee on the Westside. I'm not a coffee hipster/connoisseur, but I do like coffee and I've enjoyed the iced coffees I've had from this shop. They were refreshing and hit the spot. I visit Brash weekly after my weekend morning gym class. I go there soo much, the batista recognize me. It's a small coffee shop. It's literally a shipping container repurposed. The inside is closed off for seating, but they do have some outdoor seating, but it's really more of a grab and go type of place. There's free parking around and if you feel like walking Westside Provisions, the parking garage is free for the first 2 hours. To the coffee, I've only had 1 thing. Well 2 kinda. Vanilla Latte. Apparently if you break a glass next to coffee they're making and it spills you set it inside another cup. When you ask nicely to remake it they are rude and shame you. Brash sells some of the smoothest iced coffee around. We stopped by the "container" location in bustling Howell Mill on a Saturday morning. Free parking in the deck behind, free for the first 2 hours. The line was SUPER long, we waited for about 5 minutes, went to breakfast and came back later. There was still about a 10+ minute line. We ordered two iced lattes, one with vanilla. I tried to get an extra shot in mine and accidentally ended up with a pricey quad (4 shots). I normally might take a star off for the incorrect order, but these days it's difficult to hear with facemasks (the occasional issue is with the safety!) Their iced coffee drinks are extremely smooth and the taste is hard to beat. Pricey for sure, but some of the best coffee in ATL. read more

Brash Coffee has amazing fresh coffee :) It's my go to place to get caffeinated in the mornings as I live in the Westside Provisions District. Few pointers, there isn't really much space inside of Brash so be aware of that. The waiting area can easily get crowded. It's a more of a grab your coffee & go kind of place, rather than your " hey let's meet up & grab coffee to catch up" traditional coffee kind of place. Although however they do have a lot of outdoor seating if the weather is nice. Prices are also on the higher end, but that's to be expected in the area that it is in :) read more

I can't deny the expresso was perfectly extracted and the natural sweetness and flavour paired with the oat milk and a little simple [I think was added], was phenomenal. I would definitely want to try their expresso shot straight. I'd imagine it's quite delightful. I took a sip of my capp, and opened my eyes in shock because I wasn't rlly expecting it to taste so good. I came on a bit of a whim and then made the connection later that I had tried their drink at a pop up, and it was excellent. I'll begin this by saying that I am a Brash fan through and through. I loveeeeeee the other locations, so I was pumped to love this one just as much. It's an adorable shipping container they've retrofit to host a great hipster coffee shop. I think my visit to this location might have been on the barista's first day, which may have seeped into the espresso. Or maybe just the decaf espresso is a little bitter! I ordered a decaf iced Americano (because I am indeed a grandma and it was past 3 pm). My friend ordered a regular almond milk iced latte. We both agreed the espresso was pretty harshly bitter, which is not the case at the other locations. The staff was nice and the aesthetic is absolutely fantastic. Based on my other Brash experiences, I couldn't stomach giving this location anything below four stars, because I know everyone (errrr every business) has an off day. I get their chai latte with almond milk, it's good:) especially if you are like me who needs milk alternatives (they said they have almond milk + oat milk alternatives the time I went). Unfortunately, my bf didn't like their iced americano, said it was too sour (which I agreed), but that's a preference thing. We really wanted to try their tea kombucha, but their machine wasn't working, so we will have to stop by next time! I stumbled upon this quaint coffee shop while walking around the Provisions District. They have a great selection of coffees and cold flash brews. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable on their coffees. I was very impressed. We tried the Cortado and Nitro Flash Brew. Both were very good and kept us energized for the day. I've been so excited for Brash to open up, but it still took me months to get here and enjoy the tiny coffeehouse. It's not your usual stop in and study all day kind of place - Brash is way too tiny for that. Cute concept though. I snagged a seat by the window (the only remaining seats in the entire venue) so I could save two seats for my two friends joining me later. My soy latte kept me warm from the chilly wet weather outside. There was some outdoor seating that was useless in the scattered rain. I'm sure I was sitting in the perfect spot for people watching - in good weather. Unfortunately, it was a little gloomy outside and no one was out and about except in their cars. The soy latte was one of the only alternatives to whole milk, especially since I'm not a huge fan of almond milk. If I were in the area again, I would probably prefer Chattahoochee Coffee Company down the street or Land of a Thousand Hills a little further down for its coziness, but Brash is a definitely a nice stop for a break from the usual. read more

The kind of pit stop/pop-up design of the West Midtown location imitates the multitude of drink shops that are ubiquitous throughout my motherland of Taiwan.
