My gf bought a piece acquired from Donna Blackwood. Items can seem a little pricey, but in this case you do get what you pay for. Truly unique treasures you won't find anywhere else. The taxidermy on display alone is worth the trip if you're into that kind of thing (I am). Not far behind BassPro... And if anyone feels generous there's a set of sleigh bells there that I would love to have. And Christmas, my birthday, Valentines Day, Father's Day, etc. is just around the corner...! We found exactly what we were specifically looking for. After walking the store we went back to the counter. After seeing a man with his arms crossed, standing on the opposite side of the counter, we had to ask the man to look at the knifes even though he saw us standing there. He was very rude and not helpful at all. Both couples in our group said we would not buy anything from the store after the man was so very rude. We had full intent of purchasing a total of 4 knives. I have an eccentric aunt who always dresses like she's going to tea with the cast of Downton Abbey so this store made me think of her. Heavy focus on Christian books in the front with Victorian teahouse decor of all kinds - when you get through the first 4-5 rooms you come into a larger room in the back past the register where there are about 5-6 large round racks with tons of victorian-themed clothing - skirts, dresses, shirts, dusters, etc. in blues, whites, pink, black, etc. The lady inside was friendly and welcomed me and said almost everything is handmade and sourced by them. I saw a few pretty things but nothing I think I would wear often enough to take back to Va with me. Still, fair prices at around $65 for a lace skirt (long) and $80-100 for a dress.
