We have been before and had good experiences in the past but went for a late Saturday lunch, not that busy but our server was inattentive not just to us, every table had empty drinks and just seemed to be waiting for a long time. I used to eat here a lot and the food and service was always good . Stopped there for lunch today and decided to have the catfish. It's not a channel catfish even though the menu says it's a 1 pound catfish. It's a bullhead and not a pound. It was overcooked. The salad was great! The fried chips were outstanding and the toasted thick sandwich bread under the bullhead was a nice touch. The service was great and they were pretty busy for a Saturday lunch. Braskys is a hidden gem for delicious food! They have more than just the average bar fare. The steak salad on the menu is the best steak salad I've ever had! Especially with the raspberry dressing, and the Texas toast that is served with it is perfect. They also have the best hand cut fries in town. They are so fresh and delicious tasting with their special seasoning. If you haven't tried the food, you should. It's not often you can find healthy options at a bar, but Braskys has many to offer. I have had many of their salads, and although the steak salad is my favorite, the others are good as well. I always have a good experience whether I get delivery or I'm at Braskys to dine in. The owner greeted us when we arrived and our waitress took great care of us. I'm a big fan of potato skins and pulled pork sandwiches so I joked with my husband that is my true test of a restaurant. I've been to this bar restaurant twice looking for that four-star that I see on the reviews.went on a Sunday at 5:10 they said they didn't have the special after five when the card on the table said all day. Next pleasant thing that happened to me was I asked the waitress to turn to the baseball game I was watching they never would.Still hoping to find the four-star food I stayed and got a bucket of beer four dollars a beer I think that's expensive for a bucket. The reviews referred to the potato nachos so I ordered them they were crap.Cheap Ball Park runny cheese on them.Soggy nasty. Had an order of chicken wings seven drumsticks and only one flat with below average presentation and taste. I don't usually go to sports bar, not because I don't like the sport just because I don't like the atmosphere there. This time I've decided to give it a try and I definitely liked it! There are pretty bug screen where you can watch your favorite sport (mine is BB of course), the food is pretty good, didn't expect nor like a fancy restaurant food level so this exactly what I love, plain, simple and tasty!
