Walking in Brasky's is a pretty nice and clean sports bar. Nice Big bar also has video slots if that's your thing. With five tables of people eating and a few people at the bar i was a little worried only seeing one person working (Michelle). Well she more then got both serving and bar tending down while keeping all her customers happy ( i know this cause every table complimented her when they went to leave). First off the wife and I ordered potato skins w/out onion and they are some of the best around a nice crispy potato skin filled with bacon and cheese with sour cream on the side very good and a must try if you like Potato skins. My wife got the Fried Catfish with waffle fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw was meh and a little to over powering on the onion. The Waffle Fries were amazing giant,crispy, and seasoned well these are a must have. The Catfish my wife says is one of the best she has had in a while the breading was crispy packed with flavor it the fish it's self was cooked well and very flavorful. I ordered Brasky's Burger which is Deep-fried patty with Apple Wood smoked bacon and three kinds of cheeses: American, Swiss & Pepper Jack, served on a toasted bun with Sweet Potato fries. The sweet potato fries were ok they didn't come with any seasoning on them so nothing special. The Burger's bun was the worst part of this lunch cause i read Toasted Bun but what i got was a unbuttered maybe 5sec toasted bun off a flattop grill because the cook forgot to put it down. The Burger as a whole was dry and a little bland.Our Total bill was $36.00 so a little pricey but they do have a lunch menu we just didn't order from it. I will give this place a second chance because my wife really liked it , the Potato Skins are Bang'in, and Michelle was great. A solid 3 stars with a few tweaks to some menu items would have them at and easy 4 stars read more

It's okay terrible service. But I understand because of COVID. But the food is amazing

We live in Bloomington, IL but were in Peoria today and decided to try Brasky's since we see their TV commercials during sports broadcasts. We are so glad we stopped in for lunch! The food was excellent, the portions were good sized and the prices were very reasonable. I had the Salmon Burger with Apricot Glaze on a Pretzel Bun and a side of Onion Rings. My husband had the Bacon and Blue Burger with the Home Cut Fries. Both were absolutely delicious! In addition to the great food, the owner, Andy, came over to greet us as we came in and we had a nice chat with him. We highly recommend Brasky's whenever you are in Peoria, IL! read more

Don't be fooled by the HUGE, mouth watering burger that you see on tv! This frozen patty, no taste, overpriced burger was a huge disappointment. Quite the antithesis of my expectation level. The furniture was nasty dirty with sticky floors as I we got our exercise as we shooed flies away. No ketchup in the container at our table or the tables nearby. I don't think there's a lot to say other then FUN FUN FUN! It's a bar as a bar should be, the food is great and tasty, not fancy, not expensive, again, exactly as a bar should be. Service was kind, bartender was funny, I love talking to the bartenders, it's a must in every bar lol. I LOVE this place, the best sports bar I have been in the last few months. Madison did a terrible job. We wanted to come out with friends, listen to live music, and enjoy a little drinking but that was far from what happened. It's too bad the service was so poor because the food was actually pretty good. We went early Friday night they weren't very busy when we got there. They only had one waitress to cover the whole restaurant. She was also mixing drinks behind the bar. We ordered potato nachos that took what seemed forever to get. They were pretty good, tried the calamari fries they were cooked fine but they tasted like a fish stick. I will probably go back again to try some different food. I hope the service is better next time. read more

This bar is right near my friend's apartment, so we did our late-night Tuesday drinking here! The bartender made a surprisingly good cosmopolitan! Strong and tasty and beautiful looking in its martini glass. We managed to get control of the jukebox as there was a pretty small crowd, so we played some awesome tunes. Was there for beer and pork tenderloin this Wednesday night. They had a draft wing special where they give 4 boneless wings for each draft you purchase. The tenderloin was unlike any I'd ever seen - perfectly round - and had virtually no flavor. The accompanying fries were room temperature and soggy. On the bright side, the wings were hot and the hot sauce on them was excellent. Another plus was the background jazz-ish band. Probably won't return, though. read more

Went in on a whim early on a Sat afternoon, the bar was pretty empty but ended up having a great time anyways! We stayed and watched college football all afternoon and into the evening. We ended up chatting and getting to know the bartender/owner...and eventually the rest of the staff and then some! The food was very good, I ordered the Braskey burger...I saw deep fried patty and I was hooked! It came with your typical burger veggies, but the burger was so juicy and flavorful that it didn't need anything else. The food was very good, the beer came in a giant frosted mug, the people were so friendly, the ladies room is so cute and the bar has a neighborhood joint type feeling...I definitely recommend coming in and checking this place it out! read more

Terrible! Live music was scheduled at 8 o'clock. My husband and I were going to watch. The owner would not allow the musicians to play until baseball game was over. We drove 45 minutes to watch live music and had to watch sports. The game was not over until after 10 o'clock. We listened to three songs and had to head back home. Our waitress had no personality and seemed like she was anxious to get out of there. The bartender was lacking in knowledge. I asked if she had any Deep Eddy, which is a brand of vodka, and she showed me the beers that she had. We will never go back. read more

We stop in regularly, and we've never had poor service, though we tend to go at off hours. Veggie burger and turkey burger are very good. New owner is very attentive. Was part of a group of 12 and was disappointed with the service and food. Food ordered and after a longer than usual wait food starting coming out one item at a time. Half the people were done eating before the other half were served. As for my food, I finally cancelled the order as everyone else had there food and most were done eating. Also they need to teach the waiter how to pick up a glass to refill and its not by putting your fingers around the rim of the glass and picking it up. As a music venue its ok for a drink, I just wouldn't plan to eat there first. read more

Just left Brasky's in Peoria and the food, service, and entertainment were great. I didn't get our waiter's name, but he was excellent and very polite. We have eaten here many times and food is always good. Tonight I ordered the grilled mahi mahi entree and it was amazing!!! The flavor was incredible and the fish was so flaky and moist. I would definitely recommend this entree to friends and family. read more

This bar/restaurant is right by our apartment. It is a great, friendly atmosphere to go and hang out and have a few drinks. The food is pretty good and reasonably priced. I had the chicken strips and deep fried Mac n cheese bites. Both delicious. Drinks were averaged priced but they usually have a special. Good draft beer options given they only have about 6 on tap. Often overlooked and forgotten by many, this is one of my favorite places to eat in Peoria. Fairly typical menu despite a few specific creations like the Brasky's Burger. I go to trivia here on Monday nights. We've been going for over a year now. I have just been subjected to the absolute worst service I've ever received at a restaurant in my whole life. The waiter was so slow and never around. I had to wait forever for refills on soda and he brought the salad out at the same time he brought the food. Who does that? When we told him to take the salad off the bill he flat out said, "No, it's staying on the bill." We didn't even eat the salad. Then about 30 minutes later when he brought the check he leaned in real close and whispered, "if you don't like my service then you don't have to come back." WTF? Talk about rude. He then proceeded to try to kick us out. Like we were the ones that were wrong. We didn't want the whole meal for free. Just the damn salad that we didn't eat. So, to sum it all up don't go to Brasky's. The place where the servers are always right. He didn't get a tip. UPDATE: The owner contacted me today about this. He was very apologetic and assured me that is not how he runs his business and that the employee involved has been terminated. I look forward to once again enjoying my favorite trivia place. I am sorry it was at the expense of an employee and I hope he learns not to treat people that way regardless of his personal feelings. read more
