We had to start with the classic French Onion Soup au Gratin, which was served with a thick layer of cheese and was piping hot. Great way to warm up on a rainy evening. Our server suggested I try the Shrimp Salad with green beans & avocado. It seemed like an odd combination of ingredients, but oh was I wrong. All the flavors and textures popped. The butterfly shrimp were incredible. As someone who loves Mussels, I met my match with the entrée size bowl served in creamy white wine sauce and with french fries. I made a gallant attempt to finish it, but fell short. It was a feast and cost only 34 Euros. My daughter met her match with the French Minced Potato Casserole au Gratin. Super rich and delish. The portion was huge, almost appropriate for family style dining. I wish I could bring this restaurant back to the United States.
