After a long trip from Roma to Pisa, our group was too hungry to wander too far from the train station for food. This place popped up along the way, having a large outside seating area with canopies to escape from the sun.
Quickly settled in and ordered two pizzas, and a few drinks for the table. Took a little bit for the pizzas to come out, but not much of an issue. Pizza was uncut, so we had to use the knife to cut out slices. The dried beef pizza was hearty with good chunks of meat, a little overkill on the leaved-toppings, but overall a decent pizza. The pepperoni (sausage) pizza was incredibly cheesy and reminded me of a good slice back in NY.
Few things of note: service was good, but the glasses were dirty, so drank from water bottles. The location near the train station is convenient, but also get a lot of crazies walking by as we're eating. Don't believe they took credit card here. Not a bad place, but if you want to walk a bit more, then can probably find something else. read more
