The only amount that was not paid to him was the money for not painting the inside of the storage unit which he said he would come to do and never showed up. My son cut his elbow on staples that were sticking up on the stairway and there were loose staples through out the carpet upstairs as well that kept sticking us in our feet! I had a carpet expert to come in to verify both the carpet in the playroom and the stairway carpet is very loose and not installed properly. I paid 3,000.00 for this job to be done plus the cost of the carpet!

We had a concrete pad laid for a 30x35 metal building, and he was very professional at start, sent an estimate, and gave the plan that we both agreed upon. The project carried on for over a month with no calls to update or timeline given. I had to call to get updates, and when I did, I was met with fluff, BS. Things were never completed when they said they would be done, and when it came time for the concrete to finally be poured, we were left with a flaky, dusty floor after 2 days of patch-up work that I can burrow mu finger in just by pressing firmly. It looks horrible, and to top it off, the job was left undone. KC Nummy called to say he was in a bind and needed to get his money for what they had already done. He said the concrete looks bad on top but it is still structurally sound, and went on to say the driveway and ramps for the pad would not get completed. He asked for a check to be placed on the porch, and he would swing by and get it, no need to call him back. This has been a horrible experience, and now we are left to find and "trust" someone new to finish the job and look at fixing what he screwed up. I would not waste your time or money on KC Nummy doing no more than sweet-talking and swindling your money.

Roof had some leaks so they agreed to come out and cover a 8 X 10 foot area over garage if we would sign the contract. Contract signed and they came out 2 weeks later and covered the area with some left over materials from a roofing job. For the next 3 months we received letters stating they could not get to the roofing job for another month or two. We were now looking at June-July. We found another company, Roofscapes, that could come out and replace the roof so we contacted Jones Brothers to ask about canceling the contract. We were told it was no problem because they couldn't get to our roof. We had the roof replaced by Roofscapes that did a fabulous job. A week later Jones Brothers sent us a $480 invoice for an out of town repair. We spoke with representative Sherman Creel about the outrageous price of placing roofing paper over a small area to prevent further leaking. The job could not have taken more than 30 minutes. He stated it was standard "out of town repair" charges. There were no repairs just a patch and and out of town is Hope Hull, Alabama. Less than 30 minutes from their offices. Complete rip off and poor business practices. We waited 3 months and were told we had to wait another 2 months to get a roof and charged $480 to do a patch. If you need a roof avoid these guys.

I asked while the job was being done to be sure to gather all the debris and nails. I've tried calling Mr. McGuff to address these problems on several occasions and was told that "flashing on the roof was a home construction issue, not a roofers" We agreed to meet at my home (on 9/22/21) to discuss these issues. I explained I had a doctors appointment and I'd call when I was home. I found out Mr. McGuff sent a worker, unannounced, not knowing what needed done and it was my service dog which alerted to let me know someone was on the property. As a disabled Veteran with PTSD, my dog alerting to a stranger is a very unpleasant feeling. I cannot get in touch with Mr. McGuff now. Which is more curious now that he knows I'm looking for him. If this is the best Montgomery has to offer, I'll pass. 9/23/21 Mr. McGuff refused to come to my home as he was writing estimates. His installer did not do much to resolve the issues.
