In a panic, Kayla and Paul at Overhead Door were super helpful in giving my repair urgent attention to get the door panel, seals, alignment all addressed before we sold the home. Worst business practices ever when a well respected contractor of barndominiums and barns specially ordered a particular set of specialized doors for a barndominum and receives something that looks like it came from TEMU. Owner refused to refund or replace over $8k in complete garbage. I would not buy a dog house window from this company! They have lost tens of thousands of dollars of business from this business owner! Horrible business owner who thinks she can do whatever she wants because her husband is a local attorney! read more

My garage door would not open. Even with the motor disengaged--you could not lift the door. I called and the very sweet receptionist said they could have someone here at 10:00 am. They showed up early and the door was actually repaired before 10:00. The guys were professional and it was obvious they knew what they were doing. I was told, before they started working, what the charge would be. I would highly recommend these folks! read more

We called because we needed an automatic garage door opener installed. They were able to send someone the following week and the installation tech was friendly and efficient. The garage door works perfectly. This company does go on base so if you need garage door work for on-base housing, they can do it. read more

Took 9 months to get our door, lost the order and blamed it on COVID. Called multiple times with no return calls until we finally left a bad review. When we asked for a discount for not being able to use our garage for nine months, it was pushed to the district manager Michael. It took him two weeks to return my call, never did call my wife back who called him first and said it was corporate policy to not offer any compensation since we received our order in full. Do not use this company! We contracted with this company for 2 garage doors and 2 gas fireplaces with logs and remote for new construction. Normally a job is completed before requesting final payment. Office manager at this company repeatedly hounded us for the final payment before installation was completed. Even threatened to call attorneys Just to recap the horrible performance on this job. First they took an order and a deposit for a garage door (and fireplace logs) that later had to be changed because they determined it would not fit. Mind you they were provided a copy of the house plans to go by. Then before installation they came out and determined that the garage door they recommended and ordered will have to be modified to work properly. Then the garage door install guy showed up (with no phone call or coordination that he was coming) and no introduction of himself to us as to who he was, how long he thought the job would take, etc. then he gets started on the job and part of the way through he leaves without saying anything. Maybe he forgot a part or got called off onto another job, I don't know. He does not come back that day but does come back (I think the next day) again without calling or checking in and begins to work. I told him where I wanted the exterior key pad and he installed at a different location. While installing opener he looked for a stud in our Sheetrock by drilling multiple holes till he hits one. Then he covers up the holes with an extra long piece of metal. Again without checking with me to provide an owner's manual, giving overview on system operations, or providing 2 garage door openers, he leaves. Then about a week later we get a call from the office asking how we want to pay, preferably a Visa card over the phone. we indicated we will be happy to pay as soon as the job is complete and described what was lacking. No one contacted us for almost a month. Meantime I had to buy one garage door opener and figure out how to program my wife's car just so we could get in our garage. Back to the fireplace logs they were delivered by this company and put by the fireplace they were supposed to be installed in. Two different sized fireplaces mind you. Thing is the company put them by the wrong fireplaces resulting in the gas man installing them in the wrong fireplace. Which, upon my calling the company confirmed they were put in the wrong place and installed in the wrong fireplace. The gas man had to swap them (and yes he did charge me) to reinstall them in the correct fireplaces. This company continued to harass us and threatened to send us to collections before they finally came and completed the job. We paid the balance to the install guy and would never do business with this company again. Manager is a nightmare to deal with, highly unprofessional and the service was the worst we have ever experienced. We worked with many subs during the building of our home and this company was the only one we had problems with. As to the product, the doors are working well and after they finally provided remotes and owners manual and outside keypad we can operate them fully. We have not used the fireplaces yet as it is now summer. If you need these products I highly recommend you go elsewhere. Terrible service!!! The technician arrived right on time for the appointment. He analyzed the repair issues. The door is heavy duty and needed two springs to lift it properly. He replaced the broken spring and installed the second spring in under 20 minutes. The price was very reasonable and I am completely satisfied with his excellent workmanship. read more
