I've been here a few times now. The first time I had a fitting (my first one ever). After that, I pretty much was able to browse on my own, but today it had been at least a couple of years since I'd been back. Because of that, they decided to re-fit me. The service here is amazing! It was quiet when I arrived today, so they greeted me right away. The woman helping me today measured, then picked out various styles for me and a couple of different sizes close to what she measured me for, just in case. I went in at least wanting to try a couple of bras I'd seen photos for on facebook, so we started with those. She wasn't pushy to sell me anything in particular, but I had trouble deciding, so I went with two of them. They are pricey, though. And that's why it's not 5 stars. For customer service, it's 5 stars, for sure. If I could split it and give 4.5 stars, that's what I would go with. read more

I wish I'd known about the game-changing consequences of having a professional bra-fitting years ago. Went to Bratopia for the first time and learned that I have been wearing bras that are much too large my entire adult life!! Turns out under-wire bras are NOT insanely uncomfortable when fitted correctly. I loved everything about my shopping experience here: the warm welcome from the reception staff, Katerina - the very knowledgeable, kind and patient expert who fitted me - was exceptional at her job, the Bratopia selection was incredible with high quality undergarments in a wide variety of price points. I have wasted years wearing ill-fitting undergarments. From now on, I will not shop anywhere else. Could I find cheaper options at the big box stores? Maybe. But that's where I've dropped my dollars over the past few decades and nothing ever fit this perfectly or was this comfortable. Ever. Highly recommend! read more

To be clear, my actual rating is MINUS ALL THE STARS. I was in your store with friends recently and your oldest employee body Shamed me, refused to let me try on bras in my size and kept putting me into 36C when I'm actually a 32/34F. I also overheard this same employee race & body shamed my friend about her Breasts telling her that some races just can't wear Bra's!!! Your employees are unprofessional, racist, and improperly trained. Do Better and fire this employee. She was literally the only employee with long Grey hair, glasses, short in height, a fake-nice facade, and is obviously untrained. My friends and I have never been treated so poorly in any boutique, ever. The utter incompetence was mind-blowing. Your staff had no idea what a non-molded cup is, or what narrow-set straps are. They didn't know what a band-extender is, refused to respect my boundaries when I told them I know what I was looking for and wanted to be left alone. Your oldest staff member kept body shaming my friend by telling her she need Breasts enhancements, padding, or to just use a fking sports bra. Her tits are FINE and we didn't appreciate being forced into your archaic idea of sexy. Your employees are Racist, Incompetent, Ignorant Bullies and total Commission-vultures. Your company does NOT take care of its customers or treat them with dignity and respect. At least when we go to Victoria's Secret their Bullshit is offset by great sales on panties and Like-items, even if they do use cheap fabric glue to join the seams. Do not go to the this boutique. Like many other women out there I need what is considered a 'specialty size' This store not only marks up their price almost 700% from what they pay the suppliers but they only ever carry at most one bar in a style that would be considered outside the range you can pick up at any other store. The staff were rude and gossiped about the customers but the staff has never stayed the same. I would recommend to any woman looking for anything over an DDD cup size or a 34 band look elsewhere, find a friend who knows how bras are meant to fit and order online like I have been forced to do. Got breasts? Well I do, and finding a bra that fits properly, supports the girls, and looks good can be pretty hard for me. I've kind of resigned myself to the fact that any bras I'll buy will be in the practicul, but kind of boring colours of white, black, or beige/nude. At least that's what I thought until I came to BraTopia. BraTopia is a bra store in Calgary on Edmonton Trail, just a couple blocks south of 16Ave/TransCanada. For Calgarians this may or may not matter, but I'm from Edmonton and I always get lost in Calgary (the street system between the two cities are totally different). BraTopia was really, really easy to find, so plus a million bonus points to BraTopia for being easy to get to. In fact I could find my way back there, and I wouldn't even need a map/smartphone/gps. There isn't parking available on Edmonton Trail, but the side streets had some parking. The store on the outside doesn't look like anything amazing, but like many things it's not what's on the outside, but what's on the inside that counts. And inside BraTopia is a really nice lingerie boutique. There were a few people in the store, and just one sales lady at the time, so it took a few minutes to get a fitting, but good things come to those who wait. Not only did I get properly fitted, and find a bra in my size that fit well, and was supportive, but the bra I bought just happens to be in a colour that is not white, black, or beige. Woo hoo! Seriously folks, first time this has ever happened, and just to add the cherry on top of the sunday of awesomeness that was this shopping trip at BraTopia the bra was on sale for $65. Considering I was expecting to pay $100 for, "another boring bra" this was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately I won't be back in Calgary for a while, but whenever I do make that road trip down south to Calgary I'll be going on another shopping trip to BraTopia. read more

I was not happy with my experience at BraTopia. I went there for better selection in my size range, but I was put off by the lack of professionalism of the employees. The girl at the front desk was full of strange piercings and didn't seem to care that I was there (i.e. lack of customer orientation), there was a disturbing wall of sex toys (as if these go along with breast support). The girl who helped me with the fitting was not super helpful, but I know my way around bras, so that didn't bother me too much. I felt compelled to buy a bra because I tried on so many, but I asked the girl about whether I could return the bra if I found a better price elsewhere, and she said yes I had 7 days. Only after I checked out did I see a notice that it was exchange only, and by that point it was too late to change my mind (noting that I found the same bra on Amazon for $30 less). Also as I was checking out, there was a nasty man sitting in the lobby being unkind to the woman with the piercings. Overall, this was not a high class place, and I regret making a purchase there. I had a much better fitting experience at a store in Willow Park, and regret not giving my business there instead. read more

I took my granddaughter to your store this afternoon to get her properly fitted for a bra. From the moment we walked in we were treated with kindness and respect. We browsed briefly and then we we're asked if we required help. We immediately said yes and she was taken into a change room and measured, asked what style she was looking for and the process began. I simply stood back and watched while my granddaughter was very well looked after with this very personal shopping experience. The young women who took care of her was so very kind, helpful and appeared to be very knowledgeable and we had a wonderful experience. This can be an embarrassing time for a young lady but she was treated so well that she told me she loved every minute of it. And the bras we ended up buying for her are so comfortable, affordable and pretty. She is very very happy!! Thank you so much! Not a fan. Very pricey. Limited selection for small sizes. They fit you and then tell you what size "fits right" even though it's very uncomfortable and you are spilling out of the bra. I was fitted completely wrong and when I expressed my concerns to the consultant she had an answer for everything - they will loosen, the lace will soften, as you wear the bras they will mould to your body. NONE of this happened...they have just started to fall apart and have LITERALLY bruised me and chafed my skin raw. I now have two VERY EXPENSIVE bras that I cannot wear and of course cannot return. This is a great store if you are looking for a hard to find size! While the price is a little expensive, and you can find the same models for cheaper online, it is great to come in and get fitted and find the perfect fit. I came out with 3 bras, a bathing suit, and boxers for my fiance for just under $500. It's not cheap, but its quality items that will last because they fit well. Customer service is also wonderful. I've always had lovely ladies who take extra care to be respectful and helpful without being pushy. As well, I know that they also serve trans customers with so much respect and its really needed in the lingerie business! read more

I rushed into BraTopia knowing what I wanted and walked out with something completely different. My friends at Espy got me switched over to more expensive bras, realizing dropping an extra dime or two will get me a far better fit than I could ever find by stuffing myself into a D from the usual retail spots, like La Senze or La Vie en Rose. Dawn, the manager, gave a cheery greeting, even though the clock was ticking past 5 p.m. and it was time to get home for dinner. I explained I was looking to replace my black balconette that suffered its death when an underwire came poking through. She selected four different styles and directed me to the dressing rooms. She helped me ensure each style fit properly and explained the fit, style and adjustments of each bra. I settled on a $125 convertible bra. Yes, the straps can switch to racer back and strapless. These styles are difficult to find when you have a jaw-dropping, eye-catching E-size rack. BraTopia offers 'bridging brands,' meaning they fill that gap between the aforementioned retail brands and the more expensive brands you'll find at the *other* lingerie shops in Calgary. You'll be spending anywhere between $30 and $130 at BraTopia. It also specializes in cup-size swimwear. No more wondering if these jugs will be falling out of a 'large' halter-style swimsuit. I can't wait for my next visit to BraTopia, to start building a real, solid foundation for my jubilees. read more

After misplacing my favourite bikini top whilst in Victoria, I've resorted the last few months to rotating my moisture wicking yoga bras with painfully mismatching swim suit bottoms. Yes, I realize that this is unattractive, but as I swim mostly for athletic purposes in facilities where no one cares, I've always found this just fine.... FUNCTION OVER FASHION. Until my friend from out of town requested that I join her at the Banff Hot Springs this weekend, and I realized how unbecoming my current swimwear is. I stopped into Bratopia hoping I might find something awesome. All of their swim wear tops are sized in bra sizes as opposed to the traditional 6, 8, 10, etc, and range from sizes A-JJ (I think that was the largest I saw, anyways). After trying a couple on, I decided on a tankini top by Curvy Kate, as it was the least "bra-ish" looking suit I tried on, and was an adorable teal leopard print. As none of the bottoms were really my stye, I opted out as the salesgirl and I both agreed that a plain black pair would do it well and I could find those anywhere. I also picked out a prettttty new spring coloured bra at well, and received amazing assistance with fit as always. So, not only does Bratopia have awesome lingerie, if you have issues finding the perfect swimsuit like I do sans-sleazy-hip-hop-music-video-cleavage, then this is your place. I also accidentally left my scarf there and they saved it at the front counter for me to pick up. :) read more

Alright gentlemen, this place is a much different experience than probably what you're used to when going with your significant other to stores like this in the malls. They're full service here so the staff are going to put your lady on a waiting list when you walk in (if they're busy) then whisk your lady away to a dressing room where you won't see her for the next 20 minutes. You can sit awkwardly in one of the chairs near the front of the store. Guys, if you're shopping for gifts there's a ton of selection. Just make sure you know your lady's size as they carry the full range of sizes as opposed to the stores in the mall which only carry the popular sizes. read more

It's summertime, and it's been a good 4 years or so since I've invested in a nice swimsuit for summer. Today I decided it was time. Lo and behold, what is the first thing that pops up in a Yelp search for swimsuits? Sarah Louise's review ranting and raving about the wonderfulness of suits at Bratopia. Do you want a full suit? A tankini? Full on bikini? You've got your choice. Have some busty tatas to fit? Not a problem! There were tops I'd swim in. Figuratively! Ha! Mix and match, different colours, different patterns, different cuts, underwires or not... take your pick. And the tops? No smalls, mediums and larges here, no ma'am. They're all done by bra size. And price range? I saw some tops or bottoms starting in around $45, all the way up to sets going for $150. And help? The ladies here are on it! Finding sizes, talking about the different styles, checking in on you in the change room, oh yes. No longer shall I be buying swimwear from places that don't specialize in garments worn close to the body. Loves! read more

Bratopia offers an amazing service!!! I went in on Canada Day for a first time purchase of a nursing bra, as I am a first time mum and needed one badly!!! The staff greeted me immediately and took me directly to the change room to be fitted, it took a while but they found the perfect fit of nursing bra for me. They have a wide range of good quality brands of all shapes, colors and sizes. I will definitely be returning here for my next purchase and recommend this store to ALL woman of shape and size, as wearing the appropriate bra shape and size is most important for our body no matter the price tag. I've been here a few times, and I'm a 28E/28F (depending on the bra type and brand). This store is amazing. Their new location is a bit of a drive for me, but completely worth it. Amazing staff who know what they're doing, amazing attitude in the whole store, and amazing products. It is a bit pricey, being custom bras and all. However if you catch them on their sale days, it is completely worth it. These bras last for quite some time. I bought a bra that only lasted me a month and a bit, but I brought it in, showed the damage and they helped me out right away. I would completely recommend this place over LaSenza or Victoria's Secret if you want a properly fit bra that not only feels good, but looks good too! read more

Dropped by this morning to FINALLY get a proper fitting and buy a bra that fits and feels good at the same time. Connie helped me out and it was a great experience! She measured, considered and brought 6 different types and bra styles for me to try. The second one became the gold standard and the one I purchased at the end of the shopping experience. It was a pricier bra than what I normally purchase (over $100), but definitely worth it. It was also wired (which I never thought I would ever purchase) but comfortable. I would definitely recommend Bratopia to anyone that is looking for a proper fitting and salespeople that will thoughtfully bring styles and sizes into the room for you to try. I will be back to pick up more bras and purchase other styles - they have over 300! read more

I've been to a few specialty bra shops and out of all of them this one has been the best thus far! I was in dire need of a proper fitting nursing bra and they carried several brands in many sizes, even the harder to find ones. The staff is very personable and ready to help. After trying on well over ten bras I found a great nursing bra and also a regular glamorous bra for when I didn't want to feel frumpy on a night out. No need to look elsewhere if you're in need of hard to find sizes. They also have a great selection of swimwear as well. read more

I called BraTopia in tears asking if they carried bathing suits in my cup size. The sales clerk assured me that they had many suits in my size and to come in and try them on. When I went in, the gal i spoke to on the phone immediately started pulling bathing suits in my size. She got it right! There were bikinis, tankinis and one piece bathing suits all in my size. There were literally a dozen swim suits that fit me perfectly! The staff was friendly, professional and extremely helpful. Rest assured busty ladies, if you want professional service and a product that fits perfectly, this is the store for you. I went to Bratopia after a google search for bra boutiques and found this one quite close to me. My first visit to Bratopia was...not as successful as I had hoped for it to be. The girl who was helping me was younger, perhaps in her 20s and seemed a bit awkward with her job and seemed uncomfortable seeing me shirtless. She asked me what bra size I thought I was and I told her a 32G (wrong) and so she brought me a 28J (not sure why she decided to bring it out) After showing it was clearly too big for me came back with a 28F and 28FF which with my lack of knowledge for proper bra fitting, I thought it fit and ended up buying. It didn't take me long to realize it was much too small for me. After doing some research on proper bra fitting I decided to return to Bratopia to look for a bra but initially decided to browse myself and find out for myself what would fit me. The women, a quite bit older then the previous girl who helped me, greeted me as I came in and was not pushy at all and allowed me to browse on my own. Eventually I realized they didn't have the size I was looking for but she suggested some sister-sizes for me. She made me feel comfortable and I decided to disregard the last trip and put my trust into her to finding me a proper fitting bra. She clearly knew what she was doing and was very confident with her job, even asking to adjust my straps which some workers would be uncomfortable with. My second visit was a much better experience and though I did not buy anything this time, I will be sure to visit again when they have my size in stock. read more

Bratopia doesn't fit ALL sizes. Yes, there is good selection of all or most cup sizes, in many colours, styles, and even prices, but I was disappointed that the store didn't carry anything above band size 38. I am tall and broad--therefore bigger than the average female. No amount of re-measuring is going to cram me into a smaller size. Unfortunately, I can't breathe if the band is too snug. I don't want to buy an extension tab; I want to make sure the bra fits properly before I buy it. Back to the plus-sized stores and department stores I go, I'm afraid. read more

After being a huge fan of BraTopia in the past I must say my most recent experience was incredibly disappointing. In the past I have noticed that they stock a wide range of brands, which also fit a number of price ranges, styles and fits. This last time however around 90% of the bras were Prima Donna brand, which is more expensive and for me personally do not fit well. Unless they bring back some more of the more affordable brands like Curvy Kate (I saw one Curvy Kate bra on this last visit) I will have to start looking elsewhere. read more

This place has alot of very nice bras and high quality swim suits. It's very pricey. The lady brought me 3 bras and they all cost around $169 CAD each. The bras are very nice but they don't fit me at all. Some gave me boob muffin and some has really tight bands that dug into my ribs and skin. Is this how bras should fit? Do women really suffer daily wearing such tight bras? The lady told me I have to give it 2 weeks to get used to it. It really makes me think about dating. So if I wear this VERY tight bra that digs constantly into my skin, and it made my boobs look good, let's say I got the guy, then what? Do I really want to suffer like that? If the guy I am dating ignores my suffering then what good is this guy to me? This is the first time I got my bra fitted, it's such a horrid experience, it makes me think differently about very tight bras, I finally made the decision to just let them hang loose. I have always been a weird size, but now i am heavily pregnant and a VERY weird size. I needed some specialized help. The moment i walked into BraTopia i was greeted and offered a hand. A great sales associate measured me up and got me into the right size ( i wasnt even close!!) They had quite a large selection of clearance merchandise in my size (score!) so i walked out with 250$ worth of Bras for 70$! The fitting by my associate was awesome, she was super helpful and nice, and the store had A LOT to choose from. I will definitely be going back for nursing wear and a normal bra once (if) i get back to my normal size. The non discount bras did look to be quite pricey, but it would be a more meaningful investment if your size wasnt doomed to change like mine currently is. Recommended. read more

I was pretty excited to try Bratopia as I've had many bad experiences trying to find bras (I'm a 30H). Unfortunately I felt let down by an inexperienced customer service rep and an owner who was very distracted. I was unable to find a bra despite being open to any style, colour and price. My experience wasn't recent but after shopping elsewhere for a bra, (and refreshing my memory on how bra fittings should go) I wanted to share how it went. I wanted a relatively plain t-shirt bra, preferably black in a 30E or 32DD. I've been the same size for 7 years and today's fitting even confirmed that. The girl who was helping me could have told me that they didn't have anything in stock the moment I described what I was looking for. Instead she brought me to the back, refit me and was absolutely adamant that I was a 28F. She brought in five bras in that size and none of them fit. I told her they were difficult to get on and were actually causing me pain, and she just shrugged and said they'll stretch out. I said they were crushing my rib cage and they were causing rolls to burst out of the top and bottom - and I really don't have any. I asked her if I could try my usual size and that's when she said she didn't have any black t-shirt bras. The bras she had me try were so ill-fitting and looked so bad on me that I felt humiliated.
