I'm an amber kind of girl and I thought their Brighton ESB was super tasty. I wanted to get a growler but my IPA-loving husband didn't like mine enough to get one. Boo for me. Guess I'll have to go back without him. Girls night! My vegan husband had the Allegiance IPA, the very first IPA that I actually liked. This thing smelled so good it was incredible. I could never drink the entire pint before it went warm, but I gotta say it was the tastiest IPA I've ever had. He's a little bummed, though, that he won't be able to have their stout (has milk). Really nice ambiance they've created for such a new place. Very laid back and service is welcoming. Since we only have one other local brewery (that I know of), I'd say go to Bravery if you're looking for a good night of catching up with old friends. Not a lot of distractions and fluff. I loved this brewery and hope to be a regular there once I move to the AV. Beers were delicious with a cool vibe. The bartenders were also very friendly. I came into this place with no expectations and left with a full growler of tasty brew. I did a bad thing by forgetting to tip these awesome bartenders when I was there last. My coworkers followed me on a whim and checked out this place. It was rather hidden in a back street behind a shopping plaza. Outside it looked really small but once you are inside its an open warehouse. We were suprised to find out they dont serve food; however, they do have a menu where u can order pizza to be delivered there by a local spot. We got the order of beer flight (4 shots) for around $6. Prices are great there. I normally prefer lighter beers but was addicted to the Nitro Korova Sweet Stout. It has a very smooth taste with the richness of a stout and a chocolate flavor w/o bitterness. For those that like Wydmer ciders or something similar, you'll enjoy this rich sweet beer. Ill be buying some if they bottle it. :) The beer tenders were fun and helpful in helping us pick a great beer. I only wish they had a band performance that night. When I first saw this place I was not entirely sure it wasn't some sort of storage space. I thought I was lost. But no, this is Bravery Brewing. The location and decor is not much to write home about and when I first walked in I felt like I was walking into a party I was not invited to... That said, the beer is worth the awkward/strange/ugly setting. So many unique beers to try! I recommend doing the flight so that you can taste a variety of their beer options. I wasn't a huge fan of their Old Rat beer but hello, this is a brilliant name! I also liked that they have an outside area and games that you can play. We played Guess Who and had a lovely time. No food is served here so I recommend bringing a pizza. We all know there are pretty much zero desirable places to go out in the AV so I definitely recommend coming here if you are a craft beer aficionado! read more

Okay for beer, no food or quiet places. First of all...always support your local craft brewery! For the customer: Be aware that this brewery has no food, but they do allow for delivery to there. There's always a band playing and it's typically very loud. The beer is good, but it's pricey. A flight of 5 will run 9 bucks. Two full glass beers will run about the same. On occasion they will have a catering business there, but not often. They also have growlers and kegs for home use. For the business: In my opinion the best way to improve on your business is to make your customers feel more comfortable. Maybe some more comfortable chairs and tables. Quieter music so people can chat will keep people there longer. When people come to a brewery, they come for the beer and socializing, not for music that will drown everything out. read more

Our new favorite spot in our new city. Bravery has some amazing beer and the best people. Grab a pint and a board game and you won't be sorry. They don't serve food but have menus of local places hat will deliver. If you have a chance do the brewery tour, it's free and the owner is hilarious. They're always designing new beers and trying new stuff so even if you go multiple times you won't get bored. read more

Glad to see this place is still doing well. Owners are still cool, beer is still good. They have catering companies/local restaurants come in and sell food in the corner on busy nights, so that solves the no food "issue". It was a busy night last time I was there, the owner was cool enough to come by and bring us an extra table from the back for more friends that came to meet us, because all of the other tables were taken. read more

This place has an awsome selection of beers. I especially liked the Barrto DIPA. Many other good selections as well. The staff is friendly and I met some great people here. They don't serve food but they routinely have a food truck out front. You can also bring in your own food. I love the setting, you sit in the middle of the brewery with racks of beer being aged all around you. read more

I love going to Bravery. It is a place where u can randomly get into a serious discussion about aerospace with an astronaut on a weekday.

Great local hangout with delicious craft beer varieties. The Meritorious and La Fleur are personal favorites of mine. Nice quiet spot on a weekday evening, but can get busy on the weekends. Has board games available to play while you're there and lets you bring your own food in. There is also a list of local restaurants that offer delivery. read more

Bravery Brewing is a must-go place for any beer enthusiast in the AV! The entrance looks small from the outside, but the inside is a fairly large warehouse with lots of seating. The environment is very casual and laid-back, with a military theme to it. The service is friendly and knowledgeable about their beers. Definitely go with the flights if you're not sure what to start with. Go for the games in the area towards the back if you're with friends. As for beer recommendations, I would suggest the Grapefruit Batch #300 if you like Grapefruit Sculpin from Ballast Point. I'll be back here for sure next time I'm back in Lancaster! read more
