While in Lancaster CA, we were looking for an Italian food spot, Gino's was recommended to us. Its located in a back corner of the plaza off of W. Lancaster Blvd and Valley Central Way. It looks like they also have a banquet room as well and a large outdoor seating area. As we walked in we were greeted immediately by a very friendly staff. We were offered to pick out where we would like to sit, were at a booth next to the bar area. We were offered to order a drink, we immediately ordered garlic bread, in looking at the other customers tables near us they had ordered some and it looked great, it did not disappoint. Nice size pieces, with just the right touch of butter and garlic. We ordered a salad to start and two beers. The salad was nice sized enough to share. We were surprised to find that the 22oz beers were only 7.50, that is a great deal. We also ordered a small pizza, The Super Pizza, it comes with a lot of meat choices, we asked to hold on the ground beef but the rest of the toppings are pepperoni, sausage canadian bacon, salami, mushroom, bell pepper and olives. Lots of meat and veggies, nice crust and a great tasting red sauce and meats, we also ordered a meat sauce ravioli dish, wow, not only are the ravioli good size, the meat sauce is amazing, great taste and nice and dense, we were pouring it on top of our pizza it was so tasty. They have a large menu with various options of all of your favorite Italian dishes. I highly recommended a visit to explore the various food choices. read more

I came here on a Saturday at 2PM and it was basically empty. This restaurant was super spacious. The ceiling is high and makes the room feel so tall. It looks like a good venue for an event. I ordered a top sirloin with asparagus and a caesar salad. I also got a limoncello cake for desert. Garlic bread was complimentary. The caesar salad came in just 2 minutes and it was very basic but good. I liked the croutons - they taste better than store bought ones. After 9 minutes the garlic bread came. It was garlicky, fluffy on the inside, and crispy on the outside. I like that it is not too hot nor salty. The steak came after 20 minutes. The steak itself was juicy, tender, and had good flavor. It didn't have the medium rare color on the inside that I asked for but it was still very good. The vegetables were underwhelming. The limoncello cake was very good. It is solid and firm. The flavor is interesting because it isn't sour by has a pleasant lemon flavor. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with my experience here. read more

Everything we've had has been good. The mozzarella sticks & calamari are good starters. Their sauce for dipping is good. Meatballs were ok. The ranch for their side salad is the best. I really liked the spicy shrimp pasta and the chicken pasta with the asparagus, mushrooms and ham. They serve a heavy cocktail. And their Italian vanilla soda was yummy. Their tiramisu was delicious too. Service has always been good. It is just really expensive, but the meals should last at least two days, if not longer. pizza flavor was good but one if the worst I had there in over 30 years the pizza had very little toppings on it you can count them on one hand about 10 pieces of Pepperoni and very little sausage I was very disapointed I have never had a pizza so plan from this location ever I hope they were having a bad day I will try one more time but for. the price I'll try little Cesar at least I'll get more meat on the pizza than here . Came across this hidden gem today while looking for a spot to eat before a movie. Loved the space, the ambiance and waiting staff. Food was amazing, unfortunately we had to leave before the band set up, next time we'll plan a little later. Gino's is a staple in our family. They actually hosted a funeral reception for a family member of ours and are in their back room. The pizza is absolutely incredible. My four year-old tears it up. I love the pastas and the salad truly is Italian. Coming from a Italian based family where my dad made pizzas from Italy definitely brought brings me back to when I was a child on some other dishes. I wish I remembered to take pictures will update again soon with pictures. Honestly, the ambience of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. It's quiet it's clean. My favorite thing to order here is the lasagna. The servers are always really sweet and attentive. It's a pretty big space and they always have something happening in their ballroom, so it you need to plan an event, they have stuff available. Only leaving one star because it's required to post. Where do I start.... Slowest service ever,poor quality not even what we've come to expect. We are frequent guests and I doubt we will return. Wilted lettuce, missing ingredients. Dishes we've ordered many times fell so short. There were literally 5 tables and we were there 2.5 hours. We came to celebrate a birthday and it was absolutely a disaster. I will be calling management tomorrow as well. And the kicker the air was set to 85 on a very hot AV day. Met some friends at Gino's for dinner on Saturday night. Very disappointed, the meat pizza had no cheese on it, the garlic bread is very dry, the salad is out of a Costco bag of salad, so obvious. On top of the mediocre meal, they had a lady singer who looked like an Amish girl singing songs that did not match an Italian restaurant at all, not to mention how loud she was. I couldn't hear the person across the table from me, and she sang almost nonstop. Suggestions: dim the lights for more atmosphere, round tables instead of long ones, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin music in the background, thinner slices of garlic bread, fresh salad with tomatoes, not a bag, more reasonable prices on wine. I don't understand how clueless most restaurants are in customer service. I won't be going back, sorry to say. read more

I was totally and happily surprised to learn that Gino's is fully prepared to accommodate my dietary needs. I attended a Palmdale High school reunion with my husband where the group had pizza. Being necessarily gluten free, I figured I'd need to simply glean whatever I could and make the best of it. However, I soon found that Gino's will gladly serve gluten free dishes if you order it. They saved me a disappointing meal for which I am grateful. Their outside courtyard is a pleasant gathering site for groups both large and small. Both years the restaurant has gone above and beyond to make our experience wonderful They have opened their lovely patio to all the guests and offered Delicious Pizza and really fresh and excellent salad for our buffet. The staff, especially "Chris the bartender" has been courteous and attentive to all who attended and made everyone feel welcome and served in the best manner EVER!!! Just attended the open reunion for PHS on Sep 25th. I was extremely pleased with the food, wine and service, but especially the ambience! The patio was comfortable and inviting and we were protected from the wind in the patio.(Imagine- wind in the afternoon in AV) Pizza was delightful, flavorful and tasty. Salads were fresh and seasoned and dressed perfectly. Our Bartender was gracious and helpful, even for more glasses. We drove up to the restaurant from Santa Clarita to meet a friend coming down from Tehachapi. I can tell you now it was worth the long drive. We were greeted with a friendly smile. The service staff was first class. The food was delicious and bountiful. Next time I will order dessert first because I had no room for it then. This review is for the owner because I hope you can turn this around because at this point, we won't be returning to Gino's. We used to love going to the Challenger Way Gino's. The decor was old school Italian with 1960s music and the service was fantastic (thank you Hope), the food delicious and the overall meal was worth the money. The Challenger Way location closed down so the past two times we went to the Valley Central Way location. Both times there was a large party in their banquet room so the diners in the restaurant were left to beg for refills and bite their nails wondering if their food would ever arrive. Yesterday we entered the restaurant and stood for about five minutes waiting to be seated. There were two of us. No one greeted us though there was a guy on the phone who could have raised his hand in a hello and a waitress wandering around. We were seated and ordered iced teas ($9.00 for the two), two entrees with salad and bread and then cannoli and coffee ($9.90 for the two). The garlic bread had no flavor, we had to ask the waitress several times for refills and there was only one guy and a family of 4 in the restaurant. However I believe that Gino's is catering to the banquet room and doesn't put any staff in the restaurant as that's not where the money is. With the over inflated prices, the service should be up to par but it isn't. The entire meal was $83.45 and I left the waitress a $5 tip. We tip very well normally and I hated doing that but she barely served us and when we asked for coffee refills she didn't give us them and we had to ask again. If a meal is going to be $83.45 for two people in the Antelope Valley your staff needs to be on point, welcoming people when they enter and making people feel acknowledged. There are other places to go and sadly we will not be coming back to Gino's for awhile. This poor, sloppy service has happened twice so I can only assume the owner Tony doesn't care which is sad because the Challenger Way Gino's used to be A++++. We will have to spend our money elsewhere. read more

We had Gino's provide a catering service for a family party. We met with Marco, and he helped us plan the number of meals for the number of guests we were having. We had 40 guests arriving for the event. The delivery was done by Orlando, who was so helpful in recommending placement of the serving trays. The delivery was on time, and the food was spectacular. We would definitely use them again for any catering needs, and I would recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly. read more

We enjoyed delicious food for dinner on 2/7/2026. We had 6:15 p.m. reservation for 4. We were quickly seated in a comfortable booth. The restaurant was rather full but it looked like the main large group had finished eating. Waitress Regina brought us drinks. But then she disappeared for a long time. After finally getting to order, the food was a long time coming. We weren't served the first of our regular menu dishes until 7:39 p.m. Each dish came to the table separately so that one person was more than half finished eating before another got his food. We had to go to the front counter to request more salad dressing. Three times we had to flag down alternate staff to get water/tea refills. We saw Regina only 3 times during our delayed meal - to order, to get our dishes, and to get the bill ($72 for 2 of us with no alcohol). We were celebrating a special occasion which was marred by lack of basic table service. Next time we will celebrate elsewhere. Good food is not enough to overcome bad service. read more
