Personal pizza

They are so nice at this local pizzeria! The lunch special is a bargain! The pizza is delicious here; and if you get the lunch special, it comes with one topping (up charge for extra toppings) a side of fries or salad, and a drink. Even your local police eat here! Okay, not a selling point, but really, the officers know how to find a good deal! Check it out!!

Pasta with Creamy Alfredo Sauce
Karen G.

Placed a to go order and got a chicken fettuccine Alfredo with some garlic bread and the pasta is so creamy and paired well with the garlic bread. I got my food pretty fast as soon as I walked in and let them know I was there for a pickup they were working on it. It's a cool little restaurant with the neon lights at the bar.

Hawain pizza slice and 18oz beer
Kevin B.

good service, cheap prices, and good atmosphere. Love pizza places you can grab a slice and a beer and sit down and chill. Btw the slice was 5$ and its huge, and the beer was 7.99 so basically a meal with beer for 13$. Really nice to enjoy that nowadays

Good prices, good beer, toddler approved! Will be back

Good food, good beer, good prices and toddler approved! Will be coming back they were very kind and the ambiance was great!

Shrimp Alfredo, Buffalo chicken, smalls.

Pizza was mid. Service was outstanding. It's a pretty large space with lots of tables and we were the only party dining in Tuesday for dinner. They told me they're in the process of getting their liquor license and some TVs. If they change their pizza recipes, there is hope this could be a great spot. We ordered a Buffalo chicken pizza and a shrimp Alfredo pizza, both smalls. We all rated 6-6.5 on pizza due to lack of flavor and boring crust. Fresh shrimp is a must at any restaurant with shrimp on the menu. Otherwise, take it off the menu.

Pepperoni and sausage

We stopped in today for the first time to try it out and help support a new LOCAL business. We are the only ones here just before lunch. Emma graciously took our order We did a large pepperoni and sausage. The sauce is so good and the crust is outstanding! I'm VERY picky about pizza because I watch what I eat and EVERY calorie counts, so when ANY food is bad I stop eating it. THIS PIZZA made me want to eat it until my pants popped! So good The only thing I want to suggest is maybe brighten up the inside with paintings or something with ... POPPYS. The decor is kinda dark and not as amazing looking as the pizza taste. I wish Poppy Pizzeria all the best with this new local business.

We got the Meat Lovers and Philly Steak pizzas. Both were very tasty. I would recommend coming here.

Excellent!!! I would recommend Poppy Pizzeria. Victor (owner) and his staff will make you feel like family here.

Luckily our group had about 6-8 people so we were able to try quite a bit of the food. Glapponese - Ground pork, garlic, bacon, soy sauce for pasta. Very strong umami in this. It's for when you'd like a simple pasta with meat and nothing too overpowering. Tarako - Cod roe and nori. This is another simple pasta when you'd like something with a strong salty flavor but want to mostly enjoy the texture of the pasta, which was soft and chewy btw. If you want a familiar Japanese flavor, this is the one to order Carbonara - A very familiar pasta in case you want to stay on the safe side. If you can't decide if you want an Italian or Japanese pasta, combine the tastes with pasta in curry Service I feel can be a bit more attentive. When they sat 6 of us down first, there were only 5 settings, so it seemed pretty natural to bring us a sixth set of utensils. But when we realized they missed it, we ended asked them. Not a big deal. But when our remaining two friends came, they sat them with us and brought out only 1 set of utensils, so we had to ask for it again. Just a small detail that had me a bit confused during the experience, but the food itself was great and we'd love to come back when they reopen

I ordered the sweet ginger soy with pappardelle pasta and bulgogi with Parmesan cheese, with medium heat. Perfect balance of flavors. The bulgogi added just enough texture. I also got a pepperoni pizza and mushroom ravioli in a creamy alfredo sauce. The pizza is nice and crisp. The pepperoni tastes great and the mozzarella cheese has a creamy texture that only good mozzarella provides. The garlic bread has a nice balance of seasonings and crispness. The service is impeccable. They are very friendly and the food is delivered to your table as it comes out of the kitchen. The ambiance is nice and quiet and the restaurant is very clean. Like I said earlier, the friends that I brought were very impressed. They are very picky and I consider them "Italian food snobs", so when they told me they loved everything, I was happy. I've been married to an Italian woman for years and have eaten sandwiches from Little Italy's all over the states to many in Italy as well, so I was definitely interested to order some sandwiches and giving this place a go. This small shop doesn't have much seating, but it does have a counter to sit at as well as a small section of pasta, sauces, drinks, and various other things for you to purchase when you walk in. The menu here isn't massie, but you don't really need it to be at an Italian sandwich shop so who cares? I ended up ordering the Chicken Confit which description is "Our newest sandwich! Dark meat chicken sourced from Cream Co. Meats, confited in olive oil, then tossed it with an orange-Calabrian chili agrodolce spiked with fennel seed and garlic that's bright, deeply savory, a touch spicy, and a little addictive. It all comes together with spicy arugula and tangy pecorino Toscano on a Bub & Grandma's baguette.". The sandwich was about $15 and I gotta say, it's not very big and it didn't really do the job of filling me up and neither did my wife's. The flavour wasn't bad at all, it was solid enough and I don't have any complaints other then It was simply kind of small for the price. Overall, Ferrazzani's Pasta & Market is fine. I didn't leave blown away by anything, and in fact I was left still kind of wanting to eat. The sandwich was fine, but I don't think the amount of food matches the price and I can't really see myself driving back to Pasadena to give this place another go, but hey, this may be the perfect shop for somebody.

Pastaphony bills itself as "Where pasta gets a personality."…read more Judging from the fiery heat that blasted outtve my plentiful order of Pasta Arrabbiata, I'd venture that my particular entree's personality was, indeed, zesty and irascible...to the point of inedible. On this particular weeknight, your favorite Yelp correspondent was pivoting in and out of Glendora's Food Hall like a metronome, ferrying a quartet of meals from the hall for my wee Uber gig. Pastaphony caught my attention within moments of nesting my customer's order into my insulated carrier- my SUV's cabin was redolent of cheese, tomatoes and overall hone-cooked goodness! I went with Pasta Arrabbiata, then customized my order by adding a breaded chicken breast, black olives, onions, roasted peppers and shaved parmesan. On the plus side, Pastaphony gives ample portions- My entree weighed almost as much as a two-item combo platter from your friendly neighborhood Chinese takeout place! And, while the dish took me to Flavortown...unfortunately it was the Mojave Desert, with its scorching flavor profile and intense, spicy taste. The star of the dish was the breaded chicken cutlet and the shaved parm, but since the penne pasta overwhelmed the chicken/parm by an eight to one ratio...this was a difficult dish to finish. Context- As the acknowledged "lightweight" in a family of folks who typically relish spicy food, I asked my wife to sample my dish. She was born in Michoacacan and regularly quaffs homegrown Serrano and Habanero peppers like they're ice. Even she was surprised by how utterly spicy my pasta dish was! My entree cost $26.39 after taxes, a wee steep for a single protein pasta dish. By comparison, you can spend $1 more at any Johnny Carinos or Olive Garden and get a three-item combo with bread and/or salad accompaniments. So I wasn't satisfied by the "value for money" question, either. This experienced reviewer probably ordered the WDD (Wrong Damn Dish) but at their prices (a side of garlic bread or breadsticks is $10.99!) one os hesitant to retake the plunge.
